@@koushikvemuri3130The Conflict is partly due to ignorance of the government aka BJP government and it's not resolved till date i.e. more than a year. How long do you want it to continue?
Things like this are highly complicated. All the parties have voting rights whether it's Meitei - Kuki - Mizo or Naga.
1. You can't find who came when, even if you know how to prove it ? Migration has happened for more than 200 years. Even if you eliminate the late 50 years ..... Still the number is huge to take any action.
2. There are lots of internal lines when tribes are intermixed. Can't avoid that lineage.
3. People are divided and lands are distributed in the wrong ways.
4. The Golden triangle is affecting the gen-Z, borders are open and many goods are coming illegally. Poppy seeds are planted in the parts of Kukis.
5. Many places have no connectivity or are in terrible condition. A bigger picture is corruption.
Now solve the problems. We all have to come up with the solution. Govt can't find anything better than us. Coz they don't want to lose votes, whoever is in power.

Hi guys,I am a Kuki from Churachandpur district and i do not wish any hateful debate in the comment section..i just want to share my thoughts on this video and asks some question..i am hoping to interact with the Meiteis peacefully,at least over here..please reply me logically and calmly,correct my mistakes and I'll accept it if it's true,so let me start
1)How can this guy say Kuki language is native to Yunan,China?
Kuki-Chin langauge also refer to as Kuki-Chin-Mizo langauge is native to North Eastern India,Western Myanmar and South Eastern Bangladesh not China..it's classfied under South Central Tibeto-Burman langauge.
2) Wasn't it already debunked that Kuki population in 1900 was not actually 1% of Manipur but 14%?I remeber the THE WIRE interview where Mr Sapam brought out that and Karan Thappar actually brought up data showing that Kuki population in 1901 was actually 14% of Manipur..and today it is 16%..a growth of only 2%..so where did he get his knowledge from..and again..my fellow Meitei brothers and sisters,if i am wrong please you can even personally come and text me and send me the proof where Kukis were actually less 1% of Manipur's population and if u can prove it,i will convince my other fellow Kukis
3)How can you say we were brought into Manipur by the British after the Britsih liberated Manipur from Burmese rule?
When the British came into the sub-continent,they had already encountered us..remeber we are known by different names(i.e Lushais,Kukis,Chins and Mizo),They wrote about the wild,savage Hill tribes inhabiting the Hill Tracts of Chittagong and Lushai Hills and Chin Hills which inculde the Southern Manipur Kuki inhabited Hills.If you want to know go and read the Lushai Hills Expedition and Chins Hills.We already had our presence before the arrival of British,and this thing about Manipur and Kuki and British is about the British sometime resettling some..a few Kuki villages to serve as buffer zone between Meitei and Naga raids..but Kukis already had their presence in thr Southern Hills
4)Kuki in Myanmar is only a very2 extremely small ethnic group,not even accounting for more than 2 lakh people and how will a million of us come to India from Myanmar when we aren't even close to 2 lakh?Myanmar houses Meitei millitants that are secessionist and pay taxes to the junta through drug trade and in turn the junta allowed the Meitei millitants to stay in Burma..but why are you pointing eveything thr Kuki way?How about the largest insurgent groups of Manipur the Meiteis?
5)Christianity has only brought us to civilisation,we were Hill tribes that only knew killing,hunting,head hunting and didn't want to know anyone else until the arrival of Christ..we were savages.. Christianity only brought us to civilisation.
6)Why are Meiteis hell bend on blaming Kukis for eveything?Why can't you even admit your faults when there's video evidence of your men commiting rap*s,killing tens of Kuki women?Beheading Kuki men?Burning your own fellow Meitei women and her half Kuki child inside an ambulance?Why can't you admit you've crossed the line?
7)If you can claim Kuki are not native to Southern Manipur Hills,then you can even do that to Mizos of Mizoram and Chins or Burma for their inhabited area is all the same before it was divided by the British.
8)Why you even attack Kuki anyway?The only people who integrated with the Meiteis of Manipur were the Kukis,Kukis live in Imphal and Meiteis live in Ccpur,Kpi and other Kuki areas,even in Mizoram thousands of Meitei still reside(Mizos and Kukis are same people btw)..Nagas dont even integrate with Meiteis like Kukis did but why you look down Kuki so much?Kuki most dominant language/dialect i.e Thadou is basically mixed up with Meitei lon/Manipuri at this point because of our close intergation since time immemorial..

Yes Sir ,,but while I agree with your views on the Manipur issues,,,one should also not forget that although the general category in Manipur inhabit less than 10% of the state total landscape ,, they run the government and bureaucrats and almost 80%of the state funds and resources are invested on them since they live in the valleys, while the tribals(both nagas and kukis) are treated as second class citizens neglecting their basic needs and infrastructure.
When you have this kind of discrimination between different kinds of ethnic groups.
There is bound to be conflict.
One can visit the hill district and the valley and notice stark difference in the developmental progress.
Let everyone be ST and given equal opportunity

Govt. Of India has no clear policy in the North Eastern Region especially areas bordering Myanmar. Had it been at areas bordering Pakistan or China, the issues would have solved within a week. Manipuris are suffering for the incompetence of the Government of India.
Did the government lie about scrapping FMR to end the 15 km entry without visa in either countries and also that they are fencing the borders between both countries?

Didn't do anything for almost 11 months and now is diverting the focus from kuki's illegal actions to the Nagas who have been staying neutral all this time.. They are trying really hard to not even mention kuki.. 😂 bro now manipur is slowly going to be a part of the golden Triangle... As a Naga myself whatever he said is somewhat true, But he didn't disclose the fact that not only kukis but nagas,meiteis and pangals are also involved in narcotics and weapons trade. Especially the insurgency groups from all the communities. It may be a geo political issue like he mentioned but why only blame the past governments? What is the present government doing now? Ranveer and Raghav only hesitates when it comes to criticising Modi and his bandwagon.
Every community has a black sheep but after the conflict, drug menace has gone down in imphal but since the start of conflict last year and till now , mizoram police have confiscated 600 cr worth of drugs
