Gus keeps on saying that he couldn't leave a mark in the world and that he feared oblivion . Little did he know that he broke millions of hearts when he died and he created an impact on so many readers. He is and will be known for all his metaphors and his smartness and his love for Hazel. Guess its true, God did need an angel up there.

Was it based on a true story?
@@mahyajafar4457 no maybe but somehow the character did make a place in our hearts
@Himanshu Mishra it is a very emotional and a beautiful movie. And a must watch. It teaches you a lot of things . And it does make us cry. I mean I cry everytime I see it even when I know what's gonna happen. I do recommend it. Warning: you WILL cry
@Himanshu Mishra it is a new romantic. And I can't really compare between the two movies because both of them have totally different plots. It depends on person to person how emotional it is for them . Personally I think fault in our stars is more emotional and romantic because it is relatable. Titanic was a tragedy happened years ago and will happen only once. Fault in our stars can happen to many people.

Well bestsellers are not always good. This one was great in my opinion. But what does that have to do with John Green being the author?
+Tiotsa ok,
I'm just telling you and…
I watched it for the first time today, and I can agree that it was really heartbreaking. The way they showed how people who deal with cancer life. It was really hard to watch how people strugle with this. The scene before she said what happened to him, I cried so hard while watching this.

Your fanboy is showing.
I love this book, can't wait to see it.
This is easily one of my top three favorite books, and I was super excited for the movie...BUT...this trailer reminds me that while John green's writing is fantastic, no one actually talks like that in real life. Has anyone ever actually said "I know that love is just a shout into the void and oblivion is inevitable"? While that was really touching and heartwarming to read, I just don't know how well that will translate into believable on screen dialogue. And I say this as someone who is a huge John Green fan who has devoured all of his books.
Excited!
***** I have to agree. But I think if you put that aside and accept the heightened reality of a movie it will be great.
To all my indians bro,
