It...it is.
Audrey Lamendola man you're funny
Audrey Lamendola please explain why both the girls look the same.
Moral of the story: please drive carefully.
True true
True lol
haha
haha right
Lmao, True
I watched this movie with my daughter when it come out we cry a lot 2 years later I lost her to hit and run by a drank driver she was 18 miss you my angel
She's in heaven
Omgosh I can't imagine what you're going through, I just can't. I pray peace finds you and the good Lord lets you feel her spirit close. You're in my prayers. 😪🙏❤

Im sorry for your lost, rest in peace with God 🙏
innalillahiwainnailaihirojiun
the trailer made my cry, if i watch the film i'll die
watch, wont regret
Manar Ennaimi trust me you will 😩😭😭😭
same
nobody died from crying ignorant
The trailer also made me cry.
I'm not kidding, I've never cried so much during a movie in my entire life, and that is saying something because I don't really cry at all when watching a film. And not just of the sad parts but also because it was so beautiful at times. I swear I've cried through 3/4 of the movie
marliiexx I audibly sobbed, in the middle of the movie theater, with my best friend.
marliiexx If you like crying like the Niagara Falls then you should watch The Notebook (with Ryan Gosling).
I cried only at certain parts, I cried pretty hard but the movie I cried the most at ever was The Fault In Our Stars, I started to cry when the 20th century fox thing showed up. I was not okay.
Try watching TFIOS.
marliiexx I didn't cryed at all but i felt like...sad
Try TFIOS , GOD that's heartbreaking :'(
I honestly didn’t really cry at this movie. The only moment that really hit me was when the grandpa was talking to her as she was in coma. It was hard to feel the pain of one event while there were flashbacks to other events that were less sad. I think i had to read the book first to be able to cry at this movie :’)
What's the name of the novel??
The book was so sad 😭
Read the book: cried so hard omg
Watched the movie: the entire Pacific Ocean literally came streaming out of my eyeballs
Jenize DeBorja we need a 2ND movie !!
Lmao what a description, I love it 🤣🤣🤣😭😭!!!!
What is the title of the book
@@phongskie25 same as the movie, if I stay
This is why I dont watch sad movies
They need to make Where She Went
Camryn Jensen she wants to wait for them to get a little older.
Katline Dawn oh ok
🐶
Yes, they need to do it... It has almost been three years, just like in books
Camryn Jensen they need to make I was here
The only part that made me cry was when her grand dad talked to her :'(
Yes yes me too. Im currently reading the book and that part made me cry. I havent watched the movie tho
Exactly me too
There were some other touching parts too though. But I agree that made me sob... :'(
Same
Same :(
I think the scene with her friend saying "You still have a family" is so underrated. I really love it
Oh ma gawd why that song?! it makes everyone emotional
Say something
+Claire Pallie I'm giving up on you!
+Maryam Salih yeah😭
say something I think
No I know what song it is. Just asking whyy 😭
I feel like people really need to watch the movie to understand how sad it is. I cry about everything, but I got a headache from crying so much from watching this. It isnt just a love story. It's about her family. And that's the parts you're going to mainly cry about. Hence the end with her boyfriend. Which I was half crying, half disappointed.
I just watched it and I still have a headache and I am still crying😢
I basically cried through the whole thing 😂😂
i read the book and oh Gosh it was so good idk if movie is the same but the book is briliant
I just watched it and u agree it's so sad
if you still havnt seen it type in google search bar if i stay 123movies
First off, I'm a guy.
I was like, I'm going to watch this movie because Chloë is in it.
That was really the only reason for me. But as I watched the movie, I found that I actually liked it very much.
This was basically the first movie that I ever cried to.
10/10 would watch over and over again
You convinced me to watch. I dont like romances. But i love chloe... Im gna watch it (im also a guy)
Ashley Sumner :D
Stefan Teunissen same here
I'm a guy too..and I love this movie
Stefan Teunissen i watched it, it was so good. but im so sad SPOILER ALERT---------------------------------- the little boy dies, i mean if he lived i think it would of been a much easier decision. i think she made the wrong decision in the end. but i suppose it is a romance sooo.. the endign was obvious since the start
For all the comments about the movie's endind,
R E A D
T H E
B O O K.
but the book ending is exactly the same. Just there's a sequel to it.
Book's name?
Sam Chavan if I stay
Sam Chavan the sequel is where she went
Please read the book please
Where can I find an Adam?
adrianaxo I'm right here
adrianaxo well if you are as beautiful as her , I can be your adam....😜😂
We need more man like adam
Let me know when you find one please ·´¯`(>▂
Vaibhav are you as handsome as the hero
This might be the only time in my entire life where I can say with full confidence that a movie is more perfect than the book. The movie captures some sort of elegance and beauty that the book lacks, and I can say with certainty that the movie actually has a whole place in my heart, so much more so than the book ever had. It's that beautiful.
Yes I agree the movie was beautiful but not better then the book. I didn’t like that in the movie the parents died apart…. In the book it states they wanted to go together so they literally took that away from them.
the choices in here is so realistic.
we make choices sometimes choices makes us.
Not really. I've never heard a reliable account of an out of body experience like that during a coma.
no not about being awake in a coma and choose between life or death. what im talking about is choosing between carer and love once. :) just sayin.
“Sometimes you make choices in life, and sometimes choices make you”.
"Even though I'm bruised, I will keep moving."
never read the first one, but the sequel book "Where She Went" is so addicting. Hopefully there's a movie for it 💓
+Nia There is ! it's coming out soon
Omg I can't wait 😀
+Nia me too! :)
I just finished where she went and more than anything I want a movie for it !
Sofi Olivares they need to do it because they left us hanging on the last movie lol. 😔
The only part that i cried the most is when mia's grandfather talk to her when she is in coma, it is very sincere..
My father passed away a week ago and I can't even watch this trailer without totally breaking down. He was the first loved I ever lost. I miss you so much dad. We'll all be together again one day
I am going to cry uncontrollably, aren't I?
yes, and so am I
this was the most saddest and most touching movie I’ve ever watched. I thought it would be like cheesy but when I actually watched it and can I just say I’ve never cried so much. I cried tears of sadness and joy and literally I’m shaking and crying about how good this is. 10/10 recommend
now that i’m older i just realized how sad this movie really is. she loses her parents and her brother in the same day. like she choses to stay, but it’s so heartbreaking that she has to go on without the rest of her immediate family
Way to spoil it for people watching the trailer...
Like totally.
@@joshuafoster8726 Well, I'm glad that she spoiled it! I don't want to feel like I wasted my time. XD
This is my most favorite movie of all time. Only movie that has made me cry this much and if you guys would have seen me in the movie theater for The Fault in Our Stars, I was bawling.
I saw you at the movie theaters
charles kays I seriously doubt that. Do you live in California??? If not, you didn't see me.
I DON'T KNOW IF YOU HAD SHIT IN YOUR EYES, BUT THIS IS THE WORST MOVIE I HAVE EVER SEEN
zahra radhi .........why are you watching the trailerrr?
***** lol!
Chloë Grace Moretz needs to turn 18 already so I don't feel so weird watching her.
Almost 99% sure she already did
***** She is 17
Ahh Jenkins Yeah, I was wrong. Just checked.
im still waiting for "where she went" and im surprise that they didn't play rihanna "stay"
Jamecia Chandler please explain why both the girls look the same.
Jamecia Chandler
Just finished and okay that was sad. The grandfather scene made me cry. Good movie, reminds me a little bit of August Rush a movie I highly recommend. Jonathan is beautiful in that one with that cute Irish accent of his. and it's set up similarly. Cellist meets rocker and a little musical genuis son trying to find them.
+amers83 August Rush because of the Juiliard? Hahahaha..
so if i'm crying over the trailer and the book what do you think i'll do for the movie when i actually get to see it?
OMG I WANA WATCH THIS! And u willb

Crying your eyes out
I watched it a while ago. SOOOOOO GOOD!!!! It was sooo cute! worth seeing it. lol! U can just watch it on the internet thats what I did. The end is so bad though!
what okay then no spoliers
So glad I didn't see this in theater, I cried through half of the movie. I can't wait to hear about a second movie adaptation of "Where She Went". (Hopefully if the producers ever discuss the possibility of that)
haha i almost cried out two times, the second one was even stronger, when her grampa is talking to her. And i really don't cry, ever. This movie was sooo good.
Conteúdo Traduzido that grampa part was WOW!!..manly tears..i had to punch all my barbie doll and teddy bear to be a man again..
Throughmylens Well Done! man with Barbie doll :)..
Same lol
The ending was not enough for me, ; ( i couldn't handle the movie either it was so sad!
probably one of the best movies i ever saw and the only one that made me literally cry...
The Achilles I think the saddest movies I ever say was the lovely bones and a walk to remember
horror fan I agree! Interstellar is the single most tear jerking movie I've ever watched!! Most impactful and life admiring one too.
I NEVER cried so much for a movie. It was so beautiful. And I broke down so many times and by the end of it I was just sobbing in my room for 30 minutes and ughhhhhh this is so amazing. I just want everyone in the world to know about this movie. It’s the most emotion-provoking thing I’ve ever watched
Better than Fault in our stars. Even though both movies are completely different
Ya this far way more better than tfios
Ended me in tears
The boyfriend was a bad actor, chloe aced it, nevertheless.
Ansel aced it, Shailene aced it.
NO COMPETITION.
and there is "Keith", better than them both.
Jonah kingi dont compare
both are masterpiece
let's just enyoy
I wont agree with you on that, both are great movies tho,
I work at a movie theater and I'm so sick of all these little girls coming in in hordes. and leaving in tears. make it stop!!!!!
this movie was so beautiful I mean I’ve never cried to much for a movie before. I just wish I could watch it for the first time again just so my eyes can relive this masterpiece, literally the best movie ever I can’t stress enough about how good it is.
The movie is so sad, I cried so much and it's painful. It's so heartbreaking.
I just watched the film on the plane. And i loved it! I barely cry in films but this one caught my eye. When her grandfather talks to her while shes in the hospital, i was there holding back my tears. Beautiful movie. Hope there will be a sequel
Sameee, i also accidentally watched it on my flight and I was sitting there with tears running down my face, but it's totally worth it.
Sort of mad the dad doesn't have blonde hair as well because a main issue for Mia was that she was never the one that fit in ie: with the family, adam's crowd, etc.
I know right! But at least her mom and brother have different hair color.
I cried multiple times during this movie. It really screwed with me but it was worth it. Love and appreciate all the people around you because at the end of the day, they're really the only thing that matters.
i can't tell you the amount of times i screamed at the screen and/or just cried nonstop during this movie.
Sarah T. Same omg I love this movie😭😭😭😭💜💜💜
I can't stop crying, because this book/movie/story is literally my worst nightmare come true. It's everything I am afraid of in the world - losing my parents and especially my brother. I am WEEPING.
Chloe's such a versatile actress, she's just so awesome, I can't wait for this!
I was watching the movie and I'm balling my eyes out!!!!! :(
Same...did her brother die because I cant figure it out she just waked up and then the movie ends
Hanli Esterhuizen well you clearly missed the part where the doctor told the grandparents teddy couldn't be saved after a brain hemorrhage... such a sad movie
Can we just acknowledge that she carries her cello and rides he bike at the same time... that’s talent. Also I love this movie so much
I alway watch Chloe's movie on the edge of my seat becuse I expect her to start blowing sh*t up at any time.
Looking forward to this more than The Fault In Our Stars to be honest.
TFIOS was more original in my opinion
i know my sister and i went to go see the fault in our stars and this was one of the trailers and we both were just like "i wanna see this instead" lol
9justkeepswimming9 there are plenty of movies about Love, death and cancer and so there are plenty of movies like If I stay, so, none of them are original, wake up stop dreaming.
Saramore13 ikr thats what my friend and i said when we saw the trailer when we went to the fault in our stars
Saramore13 same omg
I don't think I've ever cried So much. Such a touching movie I loved it so much. There NEEDS to be a second one.
After watching this movie, it really touched my heart and i cried the whole time. Its really worth watching.
This movie is good and I'm not really into this kind of movies. I usually like comedy movies, sci fi movies, horror movies, crime movies, action movies, war movies but this movies is really good.
I don't get it how she crashed in the car and gets injured but becomes alive in the next scene? Help me o-o
+Destiny The Hunter well it's weird to explain she kinda like a ghost or something. she can see everything thats going on, but they can't see her. So she decides does she want to stay or go to some kind of heaven they showed in the movie
Same
andera isnothere it's like she's unconscious, so she's like seeing her family and friends and herself really from a different point of view, the Mia running around and stuff is actually invisible it's her mind
This movie brought me in tears so if they don't make a second one I will be so pissed off. SPOILER ALERT: How could she just wake up at the end, and then end the movie! #SoAngry/Sad
Toni Komolafe there's a sequel of the book if it helps. Even better than the first.
Clara Veiga Yeah I know. I just really hope my mom will let me get it
its really really good I liked it better than the first
Yeah I know right !!!!!! I had to watch trailer again! And I cried !!! EVERYONE WATCH IT!!!
Toni Komolafe I saw the damn spoiler alert and I kept reading GOD DAMN IT :DDD
wow, this has already been said but this movie took me on a journey of self discovery and revealed to me emotions that i thought i never had. Some parts of the movie i closed my eyes but words alone still held me in an emotional daze and tears slowly poured down my cheeks. This movie is a really good movie, it's a gem that you will appreciate after watching.
This movie was astounding it broke my heart...Chloe is my favorite actress.
There are no words to describe how great this movie is. No words.
I SWEAR I JUST CRIED!!!!
the cello part is just so pretty oh my
I read this book in middle school, and it was one of the first books I had ever fallen into and felt like I lived. Wonderful story; I highly recommend it!!! It always stuck with me, the second book ruined their story, but the first is wonderful!!! The story is still vivid in my mind after all these years, and I am excited to see the film now that I know it is one!
I've never cried as much as I did during this movie. I think the director was very clever in his casting of Mia's parents; they were, to me, the most lovable characters in the entire story, with their laid back attitude and humor. It makes you think of adults you love to be around. And it also makes you think of any adults you've lost. When the parents were announced dead, that was the first heartbreak of the story. The story was ultimately about choices and how they will affect the scheme of life; it is not a love story, even if it appears as one. The fact that Mia would constantly be tempted by "the light" at the hospital was also painful, with every horrible event pushing her to walk towards it. I thought the movie was a masterpiece.
Is this movie suitable for 12 year old kids??
Yeah just close ypur eyes in the bad scene
Yeah
The is one of the best and the most sad movies I have watched ! It's a beautiful movie and it's a movie u'll definitely cry watching .
holy shit its the lovely bones all over again
I was just thinking that!
Its like Lovely Bones, expect she has choice to come back to life or cross over
This girl was in a car wreck and went into a coma. Susie Salmon was raped and murdered. I think those two books/movies are TOTALLY different lol
***** No shit
But it is totally like the lovely bones
i can tell this is a chick flick because there was no blood in that car wreck that killed her entire family
Her mom died too quickly to bleed
Bethany Fisher Lol? You can never die to quickly to bleed? If you're dead with an open wound, you will still bleed.
Bethany Fisher But ofcourse it will stop faster if you're dead, then alive.
Haha I'm also pretty sure in the book they got blood all over the scene
lol i guess they used all their movie magic buckets of blood for carrie
"sometimes you make choices in life and sometimes choices make you" 😊
love that part
This is the best movie I have ever seen. Everything about it was amazing. I have never cried so much during a movie. The ideas behind every seen are deep..... I recomend watching it
Cried in the movie theatre. Although not nearly as loud as the 40 year old woman sobbing behind me
the track makes you connect with the movie.
This movie is beyond beautiful, heartbreaking and emotional and all at once.
I loved it the first time I watched, worth the watch.
Here after loosing a class mate suddenly a similar way she almost died. The story is very unclear but received a text Sunday evening from his best friend that he had been in a severe accident earlier that day. I guess he wasn't wearing a seat belt in a jeep that had no doors and somehow was ejected. Not sure if they were mudding or if it was a highway or what. No other cars were Involved He ended up cracking his skull and was airlifted to a trauma center. At some point not sure if it was at scene, in the helicopter, or in the hospital but he lost his pulse, went into a traumatic cardiac arrest for a long time. Eventually they did get a pulse back but he was in a coma, and the cardiac arrest didn't help the head injury and caused severe brain damage. The next morning (on Monday) he was pronounced brain dead. He was taken into surgery that afternoon for an organ donation. I was at part of his funeral yesterday. Drive safely (even at low speeds) and say your prayers to marrow is not promised. The kid was just 17 years old.
This trailer alone will make you think about life.
I saw this movie when i was young and i thought she had a twin like my mind was stupid when i was kid
who else is watching this because it was on the cover page of netflix
me !
omg this is so true 😂
I JUST FINISHED WATCHING IT & I CRIED AS SOON AS I SAW THE ENDING. THEY NEED TO MAKE A SECOND MOVIE. YOU CANT JUST END A MOVIE LIKE THAT WITH ADAM CALLING OUT MIAS NAME.
Lmao me
same
I cried so hard when the best friend came in to talk to her. Couldn’t hold back the tears anymore
Already making me cry and seriously! Trailers promote damn good music! Say Something was a favorite and now it's even better~ If I Stay will totally break my heart (again...the first one being TFiOS). Man, 2014 is really kicking it! CGM ♥ If I Stay ♥ Hazel + Gus ♥ TFiOS
this is the saddest movie I've ever seen, cried my heart out, now I know what to watch when I'm sad, amazing movie
I literally cried hysterically this entire movie.
Omg I remember this movie it was so sad but at the same time very beautiful and touching ♥️😢
The guy in this movie is SO DIFFERENT FROM THE BOOK ADAM LIKE BAM WHAT!
SO TRUE
Movie Adam is ugly D:
its been 6 years....😭😭😭😭😭😭
this is only the trailer and im already crying. great.
Remember watching this with my ex back then at the movies when we barley started talking. We lasted 5 years and today I found the movie ticket in my jeans.
I wanna see it just like The Fault In Our Stars
That's an oscar right there.
not even close...
She deserves it
I doubt it... although she is only 17 and has a huge career ahead of her so I wouldn't be surprised to see her win one (maybe more!) in the future.
She has already won a golden globe.
Yunaton F Langhirt When?
I’m so lucky to have met Gayle Forman, she came to my school because her daughter also goes to my school, the book was also amazing.
watching the trailer makes it feel like ive watched the whole movie...and omg that song!!! WHYYYY???
Did anyone else cry while watching this?
I know this annoys a lot of people but the book is so much better lol
Manatee()5 yes! I agree! Anyone who sees the movie it would probably be a bit confusing because of the going back in forth with time
Manatee()5 ikr my friend said the book was boring and I was like FIGHT ME
Manatee()5 definitely.
I completely agree. I was actually annoyed watching the movie because they changed so much. I get that there's things they have to cut (so the movie isn't 5 hours long) or change (for charity purposes), but they cut/changed...a lot. They took her search for Teddy and turned it into "yay he's alive...oops nvm" and then made it all about Adam
You know it's gonna be a good movie if the trailer makes you cry
The passion of small towns and the hurt and forgiveness dominic taught me
this girl is seriously the definition of pure beauty, i dont care how old she is.
pathetic virgin, i bet you're ugly.
she's 17. all legal in much of europe.
First time I cried watching a trailer
I KNOW!!
"Sometimes you make choices in your life.. and sometimes choices make us"
That touched my heart
*It's really tough to forget this MASTERPEICE.🥺*
Are we supposed to root for Mia and Adam? Because all I saw in their romance was just a silly crush that can easily be mistaken with love. Sure I wanted her to wake up, but to persue her own dreams, and to be with what's left of her family. Not to end up shackled to a guy that clearly wasn't her true love, or even her second best.
my exact same thoughts
TheWatchme12 Good, I thought I maybe misinterpretated things, lol.
I recommend reading the books then, because in the 2nd book she does exactly that, pursues her dreams.
mightybitchy but if you felt the ending you noticed what happend. She felt loved at that time, and considering all that she still would have, even if it wasn't forever, made her come back. Like her mom says life is this thing where always when you choose something you might be without another kkk so i believe she chose wisely, even if that was a bit unconscious.
Conteúdo Traduzido I felt the ending, from a mile away. And I've never felt this disinterested from a movie couple before. And I hope Adam was not the reason she woke up. Because they just didn't felt like a strong enough relationship that will last more than a couple of months, once they get into it for real.
i watched this and the ending was so.. not gonna spoilt but i hope the sequel book will made into a film tho
Agree to that.
I Hope So 😭💗
They better make a damn sequel... :/
bangtan trash she wants to wait till they are a little older.
Agree,and hey army! :)
I cried twice during this movie, the first bit was when her little brother died but the one that really got me was when the grandad talked to her saying she could die if she wanted to
LITERALLY THIS IS A PIECE OF ART.I AM NOT REALLY INTO ROMANCE MOVIES BUT THIS IS SO WORTH IT!!I HONESTLY NEED A CHAPTER TWO. THIS WOULD BE MASTERPIECE.
I will always watch a chloe grace moretz movie!
i love chloe's movies, she's a great actress.
I've never cried while watching a movie, but damn, this one got me! What a masterpiece!
This is one of the most sad and touchy but beautiful story
This movie was way sadder than The Fault in Our Stars :(
No, no it wasn't.
I've see tfios and this, I cried a lot for tfios but this not so much.. It was really sad but not as sad as the fault in our stars x
Just in my opinion, I cried a lot more in this movie than TFIOS, but TFIOS is still a fantastic film
No no no no no no no, noooooo waayyy, Fault in Our Stars made me pause the movie so I could get myself together a few times. This was a good movie, but definitely not sadder than TFIOS
grovepar1203 agree
