The gun used by K2 is called the CN08 and it was developed by Hyundai Wia. It has nothing to do with Rheinmetall. The technology used in Korean guns comes from the US Army. Korea obtained a license for the M256 from the US and produced the KM256, and Hyundai Wia later developed the CN08 based on that experience.
yeah i think poland just figured out they're playing fire with their meddling in ukraine!! then again acting before fully thinking it out isn't anything new for them! you know Roderick i wonder where James has been? he's been quiet unusually long lately!
@@keithmoore5306 Hi Keith. I was wondering the same thing about James. It's funny. I was just speaking to my son and Poland. He was thinking about visiting Poland. Your note will motivate a call and advise him not to do that. If you get news about James, please let me know. Best.
@@roderickcampbell2105 you know Roderick if your boy goes soon (say the next 3 months!) i think he'd be OK he'd just need to keep an eye on things and be ready to beat feet fast if it to go south! i just wouldn't plan an extended trip there anytime soon!
Playing with fire?? Russia's only threat are its Nukes, it has shown its incapable of fighting a modern conventional war, however since theyfe passed on alot of there former soviet hardware it makes sense to replace them as soon as possible.
@@montys420- well Monty, gear issues has never stopped moscow from striking when provoked before and it won't here!! and the pols need to learn to fully think things out before they act, moving old gear along before it's replacement is in place and worked up is just plain stupid!!
Well done to Poland and South Korea ! 👍
This tank is ideal for Asia where it can be way more hilly than Europe. The designers really did their job well.
The gun is not licensed produced and is domestically developed L55. I think the germans spread that rumor but not fact.

Nice 👍
If the K2 is using a german licensed gun, how could it compete against the Leopard 2 in foriegn trials? Think man.
That is right, but there is no German parts in the K2
