- Sometimes things don't go as planned. I shredded a trailer tire on the way to the lake and made an unexpected pit stop. I made it to the lake several hours late to find a tough bite. I share a for important spinnerbait tips. After a few adjustments I figured out a way to generate a few bites from finicky bass. Here's how the day went.

Good catching. I love spinnerbait fishing when they'll bite it. I also blew a trailer tire going to Cedar months back and a guy who lived nearby came to help us. He had a floor jack and impact wrench. Fortunately, my spare was good but I ruined my tire. Glad you got some good help. God bless you.

Looks like that 3 hour delay got you there right on time. I was surprised you didn't put a trailer hook on the Spinnerbait. Going to that small swimbait clinched it for some good ones.
Good call on the spinnerbait. I go back and forth on a trailer hook. It annoys me in the grass. That little swimmer has been good to me lately.

I love a good spinnerbait bite. I think it is becoming more of a player than the chatterbait some days. Fish have seen alot of chatters the past 10 or so years.
It's one of my favorites. I agree. You have to have both on the deck and see which one is working for the day.

Watching this, I get aggravated with myself. I have a bunch of spinnerbaits, but I don’t fish them for some reason. Next time out, it’ll be all about the willows and Colorado blades!

Love a spinner bait. I prefer to fish mine with a trailer. Rage menace or swim bait. Sorry about your tire! When is the last time you repacked your wheel bearings?
I like a trailer in muddy water. It's been years on the bearings but I grease them about twice a year.
