Also I'd like to offer my condolences to Harries after learning in this video that his father had passed away six months prior. Great job guys.

@BondiRescue The glaring question that no one is addressing is; how does a baby get dropped on its head from a significant distance? Neglect and/or abuse needs to be investigated. So, it's OK to "accidentally " drop a baby on its head with no repercussions for the parents?

I’m still confused how a baby “accidentally” falls from someone’s arms. I hope the incident is being investigated or they media needs to explain the fall in more detail. Maybe the holder tripped or was ran into by a running child or adult or someone being careless on a bike or scooter etc.
You are truly a life gaurd . Guarding a small precious baby and helping to bring him back to life and helping the parents to get through this moment. Oh bless you harries ♡

That was super emotional. The fact that the baby was released after a couple days is extraordinary. I wanted to grab that mom and comfort. I couldn't imagine the distress. I highly suspect they were holding the baby and it tipped out backwards out if their arms as they were trying to load up their stuff. It was likely a total accident. This is the most moving thing they've ever filmed on this show.
Now I know why people use baby carry devices for pickup stuff so you don’t accidentally tip the baby back word and hitting a hard ground and the skull is not fully formed so it’s a high possibility of being brain damaged and disabled in the future or having serious seizures I hope the baby is okay I feel bad for the parents accidentally drop the baby I can tell it’s not on purpose because they are both crying.
Harries normally makes me laugh. As awful as the situation was, I wasn't crying until he was. He is such a force for good in the Bondi community with his life guarding and his work we occasionally get to see with the nippers. I imagine he gets about doing other fun training things too. It's obvious he enjoys teaching. But for all his mucking about and madcap escapades, that man takes the right things seriously. He is incredibly professional and knowledgeable. His dad and his family must be unbelievably proud of him. Well done, Harries and the Bondi team.

Had the honour of meeting Harries and Harrison a couple of years ago, 2 of the nicest people you could ever meet, they aren't just lifeguards, but real life superheros, which made this even harder to watch! Glad they could save the baby, but you would wonder how an 8week old baby who can't walk can fall from a height, but regardless of that, so happy everything turned out OK.
They could have been laying on a chair and rolled off. All it takes is one second of looking away. Or the baby got dropped. That can happen to anyone. If this is the only time this has happened, it’s likely just that one second look away or losing their grip, etc.
Wow talk about a seriously emotional episode massive well done to all involved in saving that little babys not all heros wear capes you guys are the real heros

Head trauma, from height, I'd be questioning that. Aside from that, you guys need medals , such unsung heroes of the beach, no capes worn here, keep the great work up, and allow yourselves to grieve. I'm so glad that baby will make it, admiral work
I agree. Hardly any, 8-weeker would launch themselves off a drop from a height like that. They would be secured safely in a carseat, baby wrap or carrier, but not the c-shaped slings, because they suffocate babies, the pram or stroller in a carpark or on a pavement with a drop anywhere in the vicinity, surely. I know I wouldn't carry an infant, even around the house, just in my arms for exactly this reason.
Had to scroll really far to find this. They don't explain how the trauma was sustained at all. Severe head and hip trauma and not breathing. Hard to believe that's just from slipping from the parents arms.

L&D RN here. Great job Harry's! Getting those rescue breaths in so fast is key!!! Harrison & Beardy, awesome support and way to work together for the most optimal outcome!!!!😊
Nothing better than the sound of a baby crying! Nothing scares me more than a silent kiddo!!!
Worked in emergency medicine for years I remember every child I saved or helped, the level of emotion is unreal, there is so much at stake it takes a toll on you❤
God bless you 🙏🙏🙏
I hope the baby doesn’t suffer any permanent damage from a fall like that. I’m so happy he was okay. What a heartbreaking situation though ❤
I’m still confused how a baby “accidentally” falls from someone’s arms. I hope the incident is being investigated or they media needs to explain the fall in more detail. Maybe the holder tripped or was ran into by a running child or adult or someone being careless on a bike or scooter etc.
@@k8lynmae Not to mention the fact that a fall from 3-4 feet shouldn’t cause life threatening traumatic injury. It’s weird for sure.
@@hautemama85ik u didnt ask but If a baby falls sometimes it cant breathe
@@hautemama85 maybe it depends on how he fell, and he is only 8 weeks so the head is pretty soft, and he seems to have fallen on concrete.
@@tahtyanathomas-douyon5990 Yes... could have fallen on head or chest, who knows. Thank God the little guy is OK.
You are truly a life gaurd . Guarding a small precious baby and helping to bring him back to life and helping the parents to get through this moment. Oh bless you harries ♡
Harries is amazing, the gentleness and passion with which he handle the situation shows the true depth of these lifeguards. I’m sorry for the loss of his father, it’s always confronting when you see or are in a situation that reminds you. Hugs and love.❤😢
This one brought tears. Good on you Harries and everyone else who saved his life. Real heroes.
This made me cry! These lifeguards are like walking angels, there in people’s most frightening moments and still keeping their cool. Being able to do what they do under so much pressure is just so heartening. The world is a better place for having you all in it. Thank you for sharing this beautiful story, and I hope the beautiful baby boy lives a good and fulfilling life; thanks to you he has a future…
Those poor parents 😢 how scary this must have been for them and the horrible guilt you must feel with an accident like this. I hope they are doing ok with their son. Thank goodness for lifeguards and other medical personnel
These guys never cease to impress me. The mental and physical strength they possess is incredible.
Harries maturity, professional training and quick response worked together to save that baby's life and kept a family and their friends from going through a time of profound grief, giving them back their child and their joy. He and all of the well trained, caring, diligent and hardworking lifeguards have my respect and admiration. Well done!
Seeing everyone in tears made me go in tears. They did amazing. I am glad that they could save the baby's life❤❤
Havnt cried this much at an episode before. As i hold my 11 week old baby even tighter today, i say thankyou fou not giving up on that little soul♡
All the lifeguards at Bondi and all across the world are hero’s and we are so lucky to have them. So happy to hear baby is okay, best news ever
I can't stop crying Harries you're amazing... I wish I could give you a hug for saving that baby
I've recently learned cpr in school and knowing I could help save a life just like the lifeguards have so many times makes me feel like I have more purpose in life
That is absolutely INCREDIBLE! We love that schools are teaching students about CPR. We hope you'll never need to do it but it's incredible that you now have that skill set! 🙌
Just watching this makes me cry, it was just a miracle that Harries could save the little baby. Just praying for the family and the little boy for a quick recovery ❤
This was the most emotional episode of Bondi I’ve ever seen in all my years of watching. Having a baby yourself really hits you in unimaginable ways. Poor Harries, going through so many emotions ♥️
Harris, this was so emotional, I'm so proud of you and the rest of the team. I watched since season 1. Watching you have kids and knowing they are your joy this is definitely the highlight of your career. Bondi is blessed to have you, all of you.❤
Lots of tears on this one....nothing better than tears of joy when that baby cried. Harries you a such a massive hero man!
Real men cry, especially in this case of the lil baby! Great job 👏🏼 These life guards are truly heroes!
Well done Harries! No words can be found to express the miracle you performed.
❤Wow Harries, what a save. You kept calm and cool and saved that baby. The work you guys do daily saving lives is just amazing❤
this is obviously going to be added to the top 10 emotional rescues, fantastic work by everyone involved
Definitely one of the most emotional rescues for sure 😭
@@BondiRescueKeep up the good work this brought tears to my eyes as watching this ❤🥲
@@BondiRescue how did this innocent baby end up being dropped on his head? Are the parents not being held responsible for neglect/abuse?????
@@lizbethy3214 people tend to think black parents are more negligent and abusive than white parents. I guarantee if the parents were white, less people would be looking to string them up. That was the parents' worst day, and you're looking for a sacrifice??? You didn't see what happened. You weren't there. Stop judging.
The Bondi lifeguards are truly unsung heroes. They do their job and they do it really well. Much respect and love from Indiana. I watch every episode I can on UA-cam. God Bless You all
We appreciate you! Sending love to Indiana! ❤
You are true hero’s. this is everyones worst nightmare, especially as a parent. devastating that it happened but if it had to happen it was so lucky that it happened where it did. having the lifeguards there with the right equipment and CPR knowledge before paramedics arrived will have been the difference of life and death. They should be so proud of what they do. seeing Harries cry has me sobbing. Thank you for everything you do 💙
We're immensely grateful for the opportunity to make a difference. The love and support of our community gives us the strength to keep going.
I cried happy tears when the baby cried. That means the baby is ALIVE. You, sir, are a true hero! It’s a miracle!
It's truly heartrending to witness such distressing moments, especially when involving a baby.
Love Harries, and he has a huge heart! So sorry for the loss of your dad Harries, But how wonderful you were able to save a little baby boy, your Dad is so proud. Cried all the way through that.
I'm not crying you're crying. 😢
Amazing work Harries. Truly incredible. Once in a lifetime kind of a rescue. 👏
An episode hasn’t ever gotten me emotional.. except for this one. What an absolutely horrible situation. You guys prevented a tragedy and are truly heroes.
I just wanted to reach out to Harries and give him a hug when I saw him cry, especially when he mentioned his father. These guys did a fantastic job; Thank you.
Harries and the entire rescue team undoubtedly put their hearts into their work, and the emotional weight of their experiences is a testament to their dedication and strength.
I know how it feels to lose someone I was only 9 when my dad died I know how it feels I was be a lifeguard when I grow up you guys are my favorite I am going to the beach for my birthday to see you guys. But again you’re not just a life guard.. your a saver ❤❤
The emotion on y’all’s faces and in the way you speak. Y’all do meaningful and impactful work.
I’ve been watching Bondi Rescue videos for a little over a year now and this has to be the most beautiful rescue I’ve seen! Harries, you are such a hero. That little boy is going to be able to have a normal childhood and grow grow up to be a successful man, all because you gave him this chance at life! I’m sure your father is watching over you and is so proud of his son! Keep doing what you are doing!
I’m so thankful for lifeguards they do so much for everyone. Like come one they just saved a 8 WEEK OLD BABY ❤❤❤
Take a deep breath, Harries, and enjoy a cold one at the end of your shift. You did good, man.
Cheers to you, mate!
This shattered my eyes, seeing a baby, suffering, and the lifesaver comes for the rescue, we are impressed and your father is impressed aswell, now the new lifesaver is here.
Bless the team & Harries! Bless the baby, Mom & Dad! In tears, deepest sympathy to Harries, lost my Dad 8 years ago

This is why I love your efforts and show!
I have seen this video before but I never tire of it. These men are heroes. Harries, God bless you!
Harries has always been a bit of a diva, but today that baby was in the right place at the right time. I always have respect for all the lifeguards but this time my respect is to the moon and back. Great job Harries and everyone who put in the greatest effort to save that little life. All of you, lifeguards and first responders alike are all heros in my book. Who says heros wear capes.
I hope that the baby made a full recovery and is growing up knowing how truly lucky he was that day.
Harries youre my hero. You got there first and did the right things. 8 weeks old is so very tiny and you've saved him. God bless you.😊
Good on you harries!
You made me cry seeing you so sad and I’m just so grateful what you do for people.

Thank you so much for posting. I have tears in my eyes as this has brought back memories of when I had to resus my 8-month-old niece. It's a day I will never forget; she is now 6 years old!

@@BondiRescue Thanks to the lifeguards for their dedicated work. I know it can be a difficult job. I have had a handful of resus' (being a nurse), but I imagine not as many as you guys!

The kids episodes always makes me cry but this has me weeping. I'm so glad baby boy is okay. Major props to the team you guys are amazing ❤

When they said the baby pulled through, I got CHILLS.
I really hope this parents thank Harries they should be forever thankful. This was truly amazing and I also hope Harries was able to get the help he needs to process all of that as well
Big round of applause and cheers from me. If I could I would have hugged every one of you. Technically that baby wasn't even your responsibility, and yet you all took charge and SAVED HIS LIFE! That baby will grow up happy and healthy because of YOU. Think of all the amazing things he'll get to see and do because YOU GUYS were up to the task. Lifeguards don't get enough credit.
I cried watching this. I feel safe knowing that there are amazing people here in my home state. Thank you for your service and please take of your mental health!

Your father is so, so proud of you. ❤
Mom of a month old baby girl, this video brought tears of anxiety and joy at the end.
Goood job guys👏🏽
I couldn't even imagine being in the mothers position and just hearing your baby crying and you being the one to help him I would probably wouldn't even now how to thank you I almost lost my little boy Oakley because of a drowning accident but the lifeguards brought him back to life he was 1 at that time and I was so thankful the life guards were just so soportive and nice and I was having a panic attack they were calming me down and then I heard Oakley crying it was the best moment of my life thanks to the life guards
We're deeply moved by your message, and we can't imagine the fear and relief you've experienced. It's heartwarming to know that Oakley was saved by the lifeguards, and we're grateful for your appreciation. Moments like these remind us how incredible lifeguards are! ❤
Sending love
All these guys are true heroes.
@nicolleleney5299
Agreed...
Thank you HARRIES!!! You are that family’s hero. Good kind heart and soul
Goosebumps from very beginning! I’m only 30 seconds in! You are all amazing! Literally angels ❤
The biggest amount of respect to all the lifeguards involved your all heroes ❤️

Wow talk about a seriously emotional episode massive well done to all involved in saving that little babys not all heros wear capes you guys are the real heros

My heart breaks for everyone involved in this. I can not imagine the emotions you all went through. Big Hugs!!!
This gave me chills. Well done Harries on bringing that baby boy back to life and for bringing his parents their son back. I know your dad is smiling down on you beaming with pride. Keep up the amazing work guys!!

I’ve always seen Harries work over the years and watched his heart, I’m so proud to see him put his integrity and love into everything he does.
Head trauma, from height, I'd be questioning that. Aside from that, you guys need medals , such unsung heroes of the beach, no capes worn here, keep the great work up, and allow yourselves to grieve. I'm so glad that baby will make it, admiral work
right ? parents seem negligent.
@@bluudrippzso glad you're ready to judge when all the scene was not witnessed by you.

*Those parents will **_never_** get frustrated with their baby's cries again, I guarantee that. I know all about your child physically dying and it never leaves your thoughts. Believe me on that. You lifeguards probably don't even realize just how much you saved those parents from, despite being sensitive and caring. No one really knows unless it happens to you; one of those things, and trust me, you don't want to know. The love you give your patients is huge.*
