  • In today's episode of the Missing Link News Show, we examine the irony that the media has dismissed the biggest news of the year thus far (regarding Saudi Arabia's decision to let the 50 year petrodollar deal with the US expire) as "a deepfake" news at the same time that footage of Biden freezing on stage at a Hollywood fundraiser has been explained away with the same term "deepfake" and AOC introduces legislation criminalizing the production of the same.

The petro dollar arrangement artificially boosted the US economy as if it had been the producer of the most important commodity of all time. The debt load we have generated on the Petro$ cannot be serviced without massive unheard of generation/creation of capital/dollars. It's kind of like Uncle Sam has maxed out his super high limit credit cards and has now lost his job.

Yeah but, uncle Sam, unlike Joe blogs, can literally devalue the currency. Wipe his debt. And create a CBDC.

@@curiositycloset2359They can create a CBDC, but they cannot make it worth anything 😂.

Most Americans seem to think that if a piece of military hardware is more expensive to produce, then it must be better. Iran can make at least 50 kamikaze drones for every 1 million dollar tomahawk cruise missile. Quantity has a quality of its own which is often overlooked.

      Yes. Asymmetrical warfare.

Americans truly believe more expensive = better. We spend the most on our military, therefore it’s the best is the logic. Which is dumb because equipment is destroyed in war and missiles are made to be destroyed. The M4 had low stopping power and all these parts that easily malfunctioned and were expensive to replace. It is a giant scam.
Iran literally uses speed boats with machine guns strapped to them to encircle these giant bajillion dollar boats like the U.S. has.

How is the inflation in India as you experience it?

I must admit that I am very fortunate to have it much better with regard to inflation than many in say the USA where the problem is much worse but I've also noticed that the money doesn't go as far as it used to just a few years back and each month it disappears faster than the last despite buying pretty much the same stuff.

Current dollar supply plus low rates equals disastrous increase in already high rate of inflation. Its coming. Better buy bitcoin.

Did you actually research the topic of russo-ukranian war? You seem out of touch. Especially about "russian technologies". It's painful to listen to
