Father and son gaming , you're doing it right. Agree 110% on people have no desire to think about the space they are in, be it gencon, costco, the freeway etc. Just get to the right people, let us pass :P
Sounds like the SPIEL here in Essen, Germany. Waiting lines outside, waiting lines inside, guys with huge bags full of games, large crowds standing in your way ... but it's fun anyway.
That Quarter Master Eastfront game is ... I will be very surprised if you do not enjoy that one :) No such huge convetions where I live in Europe but it does sound like a lo tof fun.
I recently played Here we come Niniveh! and Saigon 74 with my daughter. Now I am frantically looking for light wargames with fascinating topics (she is 10)
Great video guys! I played my first Undaunted game with my brother this past week (Normandy). I was highly impressed by the design, the card system is so well-balanced. My brother is getting Calisto so I am looking forward to trying that with him too. WOTR... my #1 EPIC thematic game of all time. I need 1 more expansion and will look for those little promos. I painted it and bought a 3d organizer to help speed up the setup.
Alexander looks so different...😉 What a great vid, family is everything! Vids like this remind me of everything that's good in life and what the important things are, and I'm not referring to gaming!
As a father myself, I loved it when your son said he loved you.
same
@@jwboone62 Yeah. It was touching for me. I love him and am glad he is who he is!
As a son myself, I loved it when his dad responded he loved him too.
Thank for having me Dad! I had an absolute blast with you.
@@elijahkleinhenz4246 Loved doing it together! It was better because you were there with me. Next year again!
My two favorite men!❤
Wow Alexander got so much hairs in such a short time… amazing!
My son is working on his beard also. I’m trying to get him into wargaming.

Thanks you both, this was a delightful recap of a wonderful family outing 😀
Alexander looking worse for wear after GenCon.
Hoosier state represent! Evansville area here.
Been gaming since starting with D&D in the early-80’s, but still never been to GenCon. Someday!

Just got Soyuz 81, hope she digs that ( having polish heritage)
Memoir 44 was a hit when my boys were little. It’s like playing army men with rules.
Great that Elijah did this with you, Grant. So cool. Good to see you Elijah too. A while lot of famiky awesomeness
Alexander finally shed that horrible accent.
Aww this was wholesome :)
Wholesome. Just wholesome.
