You could never give me a free steak from the outback. We went to the nearest outback almost 2 years ago for my birthday. I had not been to ob in many years, but I loved their shrimp on the barbie. I went to place my order for my steak and asked for it to be blackened. I was told their chef no long would do that. If it had just been my wife and myself I would have requested the bill for our drinks and left. The steak that I ended up with had no flavor, none what so ever. Horrible. I took it home, seasoned as I like it and lightly cooked it for my lunch the next day. I have never tried canned dog food, but it likely would taste better than the steak I paid for. OB lost me for ever. I can do my steak better than anyone at OB and do it the way - I want it. Shalom
LOL, the Outback by us isn't bad for a quick bite. For cheap though, I honestly really do like Texas Roadhouse. Liek you though, I can do steak here at home really well. The problem is the good cuts cost as much as a down payment on a Toyota these days. Cheers man

I season and add chopped marrow to a sous vide bag and bring up to rare. Then sear on a Kamado Joe at 1000 degrees for maybe one minute a side.
