did you see what this dip-shit said in response to my comment of "ROCK IN PEACE TAYLOR" Geardownflapsup 4 days ago "he is still high from that last overdose, I bet he does not tell left from right so that his "rocking" would be terrible in that condition XD " I proceeded to thrash him in response, but he reported me and got it deleted. So then I called him a cry baby for telling on me. Maybe you should go tell him how cool he isnt also.
This makes me weep. They were so young, talented and beautiful. All those years together; becoming a family. Taylor’s passing is still unimaginable, and this will forever be such a bittersweet song. Rest well, beautiful Taylor. 💔
perhaps my all time favourite song to be honest.. the feeling gotten from listening to this song is unlike any other. foo fighters are truly something special
thats just what happens to weak people who destroy them self, have drug addiction and do not know how much anyone else would give to live long free and easy life...
I used to live a block off Aurora in Seattle behind Beth’s Cafe…this song beautifully escorts me back there so hard I can smell it😂 Good times, good music❤️
I’ve seen the Foos live twice. But they didn’t perform this song. If/when I ever see them live again, I’m getting front row tickets and I’m gonna kindly ask Mr. Grohl to please play Aurora. I need to see this song live at least once in my lifetime
You might never get that chance now... I'm sorry :( I'm so glad I got to see them live a couple of years ago. I'm absolutely heartbroken and this is making me cry again, it was apparently Taylor's favorite Foo's song, it's beautiful
@@Glesga_lassie thankfully, since I posted that comment, I saw them a third time and they did play Aurora!! I didn’t buy front row tickets but I still had great seats. I went with my best friend and I lost my fucking mind when I heard that opening guitar riff. I’m so fucking happy I got that last chance. And my heart is broken that Taylor is gone.
Almost three weeks on and I still can't believe it... also the fact the band have said very little is worrying, I don't need to know anything private about Taylor's passing but just to know how they are doing would be good, it's like radio silence and it's heartbreaking :(
Seems like it’s tough to get right live. The end can be way more fun and powerful, but the chorus was done so well in the studio version that I miss it. Most live stuff I don’t care and just enjoy the live imperfections (unless you’re Bob Mould who can play damned near studio perfect sets). But it’s all just whiny navel gazing. It’s a great song and one of those that you can look at decades later and be proud of it… and I hope they are.
This was Taylor's favorite FF song, Rest in Peace champ!
I didn’t know that. This is really a song that sounds like it’s from another era. It’s certainly worth being proud about this one.
@@rrpostalagain I think he said in a interview it’s the first Foo fighters song he got proper input in making so he’s very proud of it

It was the first drum track that he recorded for the band that he really felt like he nailed, I believe he said in the Back and Forth documentary.
Dave has said this at the last two concerts I saw. It’s hard to watch them without Taylor ❤ But now I love this song more!
They should sing this song more often. Definitely one of the most beautiful song in their discography.
your wish has been granted
@@SmashyPlays OMG, Thanks for telling me!
@@johancakep np, glad they added it to their setlist its so underrated!
dave has no voice for this song, too many filters and widening used, sounds like horse without it.But yeah, melody and lyrics great!
❤Now she will always be touched. Finally justice for this song because it was Taylor's favorite
Definitely my favorite version of this song!
It was Taylor’s favourite song, and now it’s mine too. I feel so sad… I’ll never have the chance to see them live anymore 😞💔
Was ONE of his favorite songs
my favorite version of this song i love the way he says “ hell, hell yeah i remember Aurora.. “

I was at that show!!! Me and a Buddy drove from Savannah to see this show. It was amazing, and the venue(The Tabernacle), is incredible.
God I miss Taylor with all my heart R.I.P. buddy I will never forget you 😪🤘
ROCK IN PEACE TAYLOR

Wow! I am so glad you posted this……2023
Taylor lovingly declared this song to be Yacht Rock.

The recent version from the Taylor tribute show was incredible

Dave is so reserved here it's mad how much he progressed as a frontman
Man! That’s beautiful! I appreciate for sharing !!! From Brazil!!!
Guarderò e ascolterò ancora questo gruppo senza Taylor? Si lo farò ma con un retrogusto amaro e un sorriso a metà 😶
God bless you Taylor, Thank you....
why would god want to bless him ? for what ? drugs, all that weakness ?
Sooo awesome
Never seen Taylor playing double drums
I love this live.❤
First time I saw them play this live was at Red Rocks, it was amazing
🎉🎉
Hell yeah!!!
Still does not feel real… rest in power Taylor 💔

why ? he was weak all his life, so now he just got what he wanted. its so simple.
They’re doing it quite a bit lately. 💕
