@@akrinornoname2769 I think he/she meant the perfection in it. Parrots, for instance, usually reproduce the sounds/words, but barely as perfect to catch the intonation and accent too.
I saw another video of crows and had the same thought lol. What if I taught 100 crows to just say "death" and released them into the city 😂😂😂. Sometimes I just want to watch the world burn
It seems that they're not as eager to mimic as some other birds, but when they do, it's uncanny. It sounds just like the speaker's voice with just a minor filter
Think of all the doppelgänger voice stories lmao. Since I saw this video a while backI’ve been trying to get the pair that lives in my back yard to say hello. One of them is getting close. Can’t wait to freak out my husband.
Happened to me when I was a kid actually. I was at a reserve here in Canada and I said "hi" to the crow or raven (I was too little, I don't remember which one) and the bird started answering me! I was still talking to it when my Mom came over and asked who I was talking to and I pointed at the crow or raven and told her I was talking to the crow. 😂 She was so confused until it talked to her too. I'll never forget that. ❤️
Crows are the most intelligent bird by a considerable margin. People overlook them but they're more intelligent than dogs and even dolphins. They're incredible creatures.
Crows have a very developed brain...and they r very smart...how u trained him speaking that's really wonderful...I wish I could hold him on my hand once..
Wow what a beautiful creature it's stunning. And such a happy birdie too. Love hearing it mimic the tone and pitch and even accent there. That was super impressive 👏
imagine that it's 1450, you're a simple farmer who gains some small pleasure in feeding and taming the crow that comes to your door every morning. "how are you?" you ask, each time, with a smile. "my name is john donald". and the crow comes to you for years then john donald is burned alive because the crow flew to the nearest village and started saying "how are you? my name is john donald" in his exact voice
It’s not only the fact that crows/ravens can talk that is cool it’s also how they’re able to mimic different voices. Like parrots can talk too but can’t really mimic the voice it came from.
Thank you for posting this! A crow woke me up today at my window saying “3,2,1….3,2,1” I thought I was losing my mind! I’ve been diligent at refreshing the bird bath water but not quick enough today. That crow wants me out of bed!😂
thats impressive...i was aware that ravens and crows could both talk...but i thought only ravens could duplicate voices such wonderfull animals Corvids are,its a shame they have such a bad reputation
The human's voice in this video is super clear and crispy. Sounds like a professional voice actor from a cartoon. Probably make it easier for the crow to mimic as well.
Nah, chickens don't have vocal boxes/chords like that, although it IS pretty amazing that nobody is really amazed of how chickens and a lot of other egg-laying animals can lay eggs without a potential mate or sperm... I mean it doesn't amaze me either but I could still appreciate it since humans literally mass produced chickens for their meat and eggs, not to mention fighting cocks which are bred to "perfection" of some sort... But still were humans after all.. Not that it's a disgrace but its kinda bugging me... Also to note the intelligence of humans that we're basically discovering EVERYTHING including the intelligence of animals, the phenomenons that aren't very natural but actually are, the discovery of more than 12 possible life-bearing planets complete with water and oxygen, among many things...now that I look at my comment it wasn't actually as long as I though it was especially when you take time to think of something and realize it's just pretty short when you write and re...
I stand corrected it was actually pretty long that I maxed the cap of youtube's character/letter cap withouth even finishing the last sentence and making full sense of all the crap I was "amazed" with and everything about chickens talking and stif...
+SpongyUdderz Minecraft Actually the more I look at it , It becomes shorter... Probably because of you being already familiarized to the thing you watched or read, this holds true too to the videos that you see over and over again, like being the quite long 3 minutes would just be like any other, maybe faster..
It's basically a common intonation humans use when talking to animals especially ones who can mimic them. I've heard people do it a lot with parrots too.
This must be why people believed Ravens were shapeshifting witches for a long time
Peter Felipe ha ha probably

I had a male cat that could say in a child voice mama 😂my late first heard back him saying it cocoa 😂
Gayla Aucoin My cat would also say mama to call my mom for something.
I doubt anyone thought that
That is incredible, not only talked, but also near perfect replication of your voice and accent as well.
I mean, of course they're going to replicate the accent. There's no reason for them to suddenly speak in RP or Cockney if they never heard it before
"I know, right!" 😂

I didn't know crows were that good at mimicking human speech. I knew ravens could do it but not crows.
Crows can too, but this is a raven in the video.
Liomar Baru nope, I'm a crow! thanks!
Liomar Baru No, I am a crow. We do not have Ravens in my area. But I am very large so I can understand your confusion.
Ravens beaks are more curved. This Crow is bloody huge compared to Crows here in the UK.
Ravens have a deeper voice, if you can call it that
