Beautiful painting. Thank you❤
Thank you very much Amy!

Thank you Stephanie!
It's so beautiful. I love painting, but I can't seem to get my brush to do the same type of loose base petals that you do!! Do you have any suggestions? (other than practice - which I do, every morning with my coffee at the kitchen table!!)
When you practice, use a variety of holds (in the middle, at the end, at the base and hold tight vs loose). I'd also practice swaying the brush back and forth, making squiggly lines, straight lines, thick and thin lines. Then practice petal shapes and experiment with different brush sizes. All this will help your hand loosen up and achieve what you're hoping to. Hope this helps!
I don’t share my art with anyone other than my husband and daughter (who thinks I should sell my 5x7s). Just thinking about doing so right now made my shoulders tense up. Silly, right? Why are some of us so shy about showing our art?
I think most of us deal with that insecurity! I was just recording my podcast today that’s coming out on Friday and I was talking about the fear of judgment from others. You sound like you have a wonderfully supportive family which is great! Not everyone has that and then there is the risk of judgment on social media. I don’t know if that is what it is for you but I definitely relate to that.
