Hey guys ! I have 2 questions: - Could someone explain what is the programming mode for please, I don't get it ? - If I'm correct this is the v2 of this pedal, is there any particular difference between the v1 and v2 ? Thanks
That might be your amp. Rangemaster is basically a midboost (upper mids) that is suppose to make your sound stand out (thicker in certain ranges), not necessarily more pleasant in a room situation. The Prism seem to impart just that on the colour setting - nothing more. The characteristic of the drive is still determined by your amp and preamp. SRV cranks his amps, so you are not gonna be able to replicate that zingy kind of chime unless you crank a steel string singer clone or something with an ampeg like power section. I am not a tech, this is just my understanding of why people can't really get that SRV tone. I do own lots of custom amps, and I think you'd be surprised that most don't sound like what you think they SHOULD sound like until you crank them. Even then, they sound very different in a room situation. IF YOU WANT THE SRV SOUND, I am of the probably unpopular opinion of buying a smaller one of these AMPEGS and boost it with something like a germanium boost.
This pedal will never leave my board!!
has it left your board?

I used prism for boost drive my mesa/boogie nomad 100
is the prism circuit based on the dallas rangemaster treble booster? because I can't get any glassy clean srv tones at all any reasons why?
