- This Terraria NPC's weapon is unironically good... The Resonance Scepter. There are sooo many different ways to obtain weapons in Terraria, whether that be through crafting, farming or god knows what else! Today we're going to be looking at a shockingly effective weapons, which is rewarded to you for killing your own NPC's! On my gunslinger getfixedboi world I didn't allow myself to attack till I got a gun, as I normally do. I couldn't get the musket without digging all the way up, so I got the paintball gun instead. With autofire it's actually really good for a while
The combat wrench is good too. Maybe you should make a video about that.

Personally, I find it outclassed by the molten boomerang which can be obtained as soon as you beat or get beat by the world evil boss
its crazy how i never saw this weapon in the wiki, videos, or anything surrounding terraria content. Crazy how so many obscure things in terraria can be glossed over even though the potential it hides is so big. Another great video sockrtreez

I agree. I'm one of the players who always kills Duke Fishron in early Hardmode, so the Resonance Scepter is just completely pointless for me.

@@there-is-weeping-in-the-at1746 I mean yeah, that one too, but Razorblade Typhoon is a beast of a crowd control weapon, whereas Bubble Gun has very limited range and can have several projectiles miss against smaller targets... but I agree, Bubble Gun is also really good. It's great for kiting bosses like Skeletron Prime and Plantera.

The hand warmer is unironically good
On pre-boss, it can at least deal with the annoying chill from touching the water in the snow biome, I don't find it any useful after that as it just wastes an accessory slot that would be more useful for a mobility or offense item, literally fish for some warmth potion for better results
There's a hand warmer on preboss?!? How do I get it so I can finish my collection?

If you havent i would check out the paintball gun, its actually pretty good and if your persistent like me, it can carry you to hardmode and maybe slightly further with frostarmour
One of the first people here, it’s actually insanely good, but slaughtering hundreds of children to get it is annoying
On celebrationmk10 worlds you can’t get it pre hardmode (it won’t drop from the princess) but the moment hardmode starts you can get it (post plantera weapon pre mech)

I made a resonance scepter farm by putting the princess in a house with sharks where she kept on spawning and dying
It's a good thing that in Calamity you can just buy the NPC weapons (assuming said NPC has a shop)
you should do a video on the reworked weapons on the dont dig up and getfixedboi seeds mainly the snowball cannon as i just started using it during a zenith hardcore run and it does very good damage and knockback
the paintball gun from the painter is a hidden gem, you should do a review on it

On the topic of NPC weapons, please talk about the Paintball Gun. Dropped from the Painter it is a very early game weapon that can carry you quite far into Pre Hardmode. It also consumes 0 ammo which is a big deal in pre hardmode when ammo could serve to be limited.

Big note in the celebration seed at least in my info you can buy the resonance staff in a blood moon, you can buy it and another weapon called the teragrim
My favorite weapon to use Pre-boss
I feel like the ice bow or whatever it was called from ice mimics is very under rated it does good dmg against the mechs and doesn't require much grinding
Me and my friend made a celebrationmk10 world a little while ago, so we managed to get this pre-mech! Crazy stuff.

I think it's kinda interesting how you haven't really reviewed any weapons that got stat-flipped by the secret seeds, like the hardmode snowball cannon, or the pre-hardmode unholy trident.

It is not available pre-WOF in the celebration seed, however it is available in hardmode post-WOF

It's been a while since i last played, what are those extra white projectiles coming from the mobs when you hit them?
That weapon helped me against the duke in a For the worthy world
Important about the weapon you can only get the drop in hard mode so even with seed it wont drop before wall of flesh.
In a few months were going to have a video called “Is the Dirt Rod overpowered?” With the amount of items you have done

You can get it first thing in hard mode on the make 10 seed makes the start a breeze
You can get the sceptre thing from the princess at any stage in the game by using the birthday seed
Drawing “Sockrt” at 4:25 using the scepter was a cool detail
On my celebrationmk10 world I got the princess to take out the early harmode bosses for me as well, since she had a stronger weapon than I did.
I think I need to spend a week straight playing terraria again...

You should do a weapon review on the lunar portal staff it is one of the best summoning weapons in the game and after 1.4.4 update it was strongly buffed

The most painful part about getting the weapon is that you need to wake up the angler and de-curse the tax collector for the princess to show up 😂😂
Those are the least painful to get. Golfer and stylist are so much worse

Fun fact! You can actually get this weapon fresh into hardmode by using the Celebrationmk10 seed where the princess can always move in. It can’t drop pre hardmode, but since there’s no check to see if Plantera is dead, you can get it right after WoF

Hey was wondering if you try and do a video on weather or not status lower the drop rate at all I think that it's a pretty common assumption that status lower drop rate but a wonder if they actually do

I remember obtaining the Paintball gun really early on (from my painter dying) not knowing where or how i got it. This ranged weapon is so damn good to have early on as you dont need any ammo. combine it with the fossil set and it just carries you through skeletron.

i don´t know if this weapon is worthy the time it takes you to obtain it, you could go for duke fishron for even more overpower weapons to the point you obtain that one, and its easier than having to make every condition necessary for every npc and the houses for them to live, still a fun and useful weapong

This is one of my favorite mage weapons but the Princess is also one of my favorite NPCs. I always feel bad killing her so I usually have her "accidentally" die from pirates.

I never played the mage class
Its the spectral armor set bonus bassicaly their 2 spectral armor helmet and one do small auto aim projectiles spawn and deal extra dammage when you hit something and the other helmet is the same but it heal you instead
It's an effect of the Spectre Armor.
