I am a 999 liker, I have a gmt400 and I am from Russia. We also have a lot of snow and we also love cars from the USA. You guys are great fellows! Subscribed. 🤝🤝🤝
*FYI folks: at exactly time point **2:54** . . . the smaller of the 2 'humps' on left of black Chevy passing by - is an unfortunate Prius whose 3AAA batteries went dead back in September - has been sittin' there since; the bigger hump next to it is just a rock*
Looks fun. One of the worst times I got stuck was on about a 4 ft deep snow drift that was hard packed snow. Middle of a field, no trees to hook a winch to, and nobody to pull me out. I've never shoveled so much in my life.
I live in Alaska and a winch is useless at a time you described unless your prepared. Believe me it happened to me once and I swore never again and I have winches front and rear. Always carry a few pieces of 3/4 inch diameter by about 2 - 3 foot long made of rebar with a nice thick of 3/8" thick my 3 inch square flat stock on one end to hit - welded to it and sharpen the other end like a dull arrow tip. Carry a small sledge hammer - mine is a 8 pounder to drive one of your pieces of rebar into the ground or even ice. Make sure to drive it in at an angle so you winches hook will not slide off. In some cases you may need to use 2 steaks made from the rebar depending how far you can drive them into the frozen ground. I then use my high lift Jack to remove them if unable to I drive them in all the way.
Love the video guys! I'm sure it was great fun. I especially like the Tahoe, but I love pretty much all 4x4's and love putting them to the test and watching others as well. Thanks for the fun video.
Hello men!! Great vid I certainly miss those days! Next trip out in the snow like that take about 10psi out of your tires and you’ll see a big difference!! In all great vid and great times men!!
i dont think many people know the feeling of being in the middle of nowhere , in the dead of winter with a few friends blasting thru the snow in a truck or on a sled
Cool! Now imagine if you guys had actual real deep snow tires like the Toyo Tranpath S1 or something similar. Would make quick work of that cute trail. Good fun boys, well done.
Not much beats wheelin in the snow. Unless yor doing it in a semi truck you dont own and have chains on all drives, trailer and steers LOL Now thats some fun! I am always surprised you guys who wheel never put real chains on. Like the kind on semi trucks. not the cheapo chains from the local walmart. They sell repair tools to shorten them if you want.

One of the best snow-run vids I've seen in a while- nice
Thank you for sharing that I love to see four-wheel-drive vehicles and what they can do!!
Nice Tahoe! I axle swapped mine a few years back, best mod I've done to it
Really liked the video, finally a good snow wheeling video with some good rigs and good driving.
Nice. Looks like a lot if fun. I especially liked that bug Chevy.
Большие колёса, мощный двигатель, красивая природа - в итоге получилось интересное видео. Классно покатались! Привет из России!
Beautiful area! I enjoyed the video thanks!

that big ole chevy was pretty cool, don't see that many on the trail

I can smell the fun all the way to Sweden 🇸🇪❤️
always cool to see a chevy out there
Love the video guys! I'm sure it was great fun. I especially like the Tahoe, but I love pretty much all 4x4's and love putting them to the test and watching others as well. Thanks for the fun video.
Looks like a lot of fun. Like the chevy 👍 wish my area would get snow already 😂
Same Wisconsin is to warm for the snow like hurry up 😂😂😂
not too warm any more!!!
No snow here either...you guys running in 4L most the time for all this stuff?
Hello men!! Great vid I certainly miss those days!
Next trip out in the snow like that take about 10psi out of your tires and you’ll see a big difference!! In all great vid and great times men!!
iceman12966 - we are very experienced snow wheelers and generally run single digit pressures when its needed!
I‘m in love with that LJ 🥰 thumbs up!
It's actually not an LJ. It's what we call a TJ6. Extended body TJ
Nice video. Had to subscribe. Hope to see more like this
yummm engine sounds earned you a thumbs up
The Wrangler driver is really good in the snow, really knew when to keep momentum and when to peddle. Great work
Look again @ 2:24.
John Dough my bad, I was talking about the red one, the full size did great at 220 though
Ah, 10-4, gotcha.
I can't wait to get into it like that in January.
Very Nice. Thanks for sharing!
Solid axle burb looked clean!
Excellent video!
Great video and awesome Tahoe!
Brian Rocco - Thanks!
i dont think many people know the feeling of being in the middle of nowhere , in the dead of winter with a few friends blasting thru the snow in a truck or on a sled
blazers are fun in the snow
Cool! Now imagine if you guys had actual real deep snow tires like the Toyo Tranpath S1 or something similar. Would make quick work of that cute trail.
Good fun boys, well done.
Frank White - we know what works in the snow!
I'm sure you do. But you'd be amazed if you never tried the dedicated stuff.
Great Vids! I know the Hoe's suspension is heavily modified but how much lift would you say it has over stock? Thanks
Approx 6" is my best guess
@@heavymonty appreciate the quick reply
Love my XJ
That is awesome!!!!
I have the same exact suburban with a 8 inch lift . Pro como lift .
With bf Goodrich mud tires !! Bad ass
not a burban. its a tahoe!
Fun stuff, what year is that XJ? Any specs you could share, lift? Tire size? Lockers? I have a 94 I’m working on. Thanks!
The xj is early 90s. 35s. Locker in the front and LSD in rear i believe.
People, this must have been a very short Frolic in the snow.
Looks like Big Meadow above Naramata BC?
joeburt8 - yes it is. We go in from Gillard FSR
Funny - people in Mississippi drive like that in the snow too.
Auf so eine Tour hätte ich auch mal richtig Bock !!!!! 😊
did you let tires down, like 15 psi.
Lower!
Best to lower tires pressure to get a a lot better grip
All rigs around 5 psi
What tires you guys running ?
Bunch of different types of M/T's. Some radials, some bias ply's. All in single digit pressures!
I wish all the mountains here have melting snow
Jealous! No snow here yet.
Good stuff!
how come you guys don't use chains?
Trent Haverfield - Chains dig. We try and stay on top of the snow. Chains also dont like high speed.
and there's no fun with chains.
Sick!
Not much beats wheelin in the snow. Unless yor doing it in a semi truck you dont own and have chains on all drives, trailer and steers LOL

Nice!
shot at 4:31 reminds me of the Shining!
Nice one!
Tahoe the best!!!! (Russian name is "Ptaha" - small bird :) or "Nataha"- gerls name
Thumbs up for solid axle hoes lol
Bc plates where is this too
pinkbandit133 - near Kelowna
heavymonty peckerwood pine tree's and not in steep valleys... pretty nice area im from hope we got some good hero snow earlier this year
Good wheeling .. fun shit .
going to maybe do that but with no mud with my gf and her dad
fuck yeah bois
You gentlemen would be better served by your tires by dropping the tire pressure some. Gives the tire a wider stance and better traction.
Ralph Rose - we know snow wheelin and adjust our pressures accordingly
heavymonty good. Drop them down to 20.
HAHAHAHA, 20! Most of the video we are all into single digit pressures!
heavymonty tires must have very thick sidewalls. They didn't seem to flex at all.
Cold rubber is stiffer, so that reduces flex.
Where are you guys at
Josh Acquistapace - near Kelowna BC
Running lockers on the burban? I’m starting a 95 with a 350tbi build
Tahoe I mean!
Yeah. Spartan lockers front and rear!
no snow lol
sweet!!

V8 is better for this. More power, let's high revving
