Mornin PO Jason and Friends 👋. Thanks for another great video. The scenery is so beautiful. Appreciate you sharing your adventures with us. I'm still smiling at the lake scenery. Stay safe. God Bless y'all 🙏✌❤😊
Oh Wow! 7:26 Beautiful! Stop, let me soak it all in. 😊💖 It would be so nice to go kayaking after a hike and have your own lake to kayak in. It is "massively therapeutic" even to watch the kayak glide on the lake. Really nice background (as always). Thank you as always for taking us along on the trip.
I was really impressed with the Oru… I had been wanting a kayak for a while and have always thought blow up but I really liked how stable this one was even when I paddled really hard.. I’ll have my version of this out in a couple weeks, you are a bit ahead of me. Another great video Jason!
Jason, always enjoy the videos and thank you. I departed Bend, OR this morning. I'm sorry not to have met Megan and yourself. Although I met "Ranger Rob Country Living" A wonderful time and the start of a very nice friendship. Perhaps next year Jason. Cheers, Mate.
The shots of you doing mundane stuff to get ready or prep are some of my favorite. I know it take a lot to set up the camera and what not, but thank you for those shots.
Double turtle is what it is called when you carry one backpack in frount and one on your back. My husband and I took turns carrying my Mother's backpack on a trail that way. Fortunately we were starting at hostels so the extra pack was only 11 pounds. Thank you for taking us along. Safe travels.
So beautiful! Love living in Bend and enjoying the lakes with my Oru Inlet.....I'm in my 70's and found a kayak I can easily carry around myself and really go places! It is a really easy setup and fold up.....welcome to the FOLD!
Great vid and great showing the capabilities of the Inlet. I was more of a problem than the kayak when I first got in. Once I got settled just loved it.
David & I have figured out that we just live a little over an hour from each other, so if you ever make it down this way, be sure to holler at me. Maybe we could all get together for a trip of some sort.
I loved this! I just ordered my Oru Inlet tonight and can’t wait to put it to good use! Thanks for all the info. Already planning to make some adjustments to the pack to make it more useful. 💜Happy travels.
Short but super enjoyable video. David seems to have a great personality as well...will definitely follow his channel. I've held off buying another kayak (owned two previously) as I watch other kayakers use theirs. As you well know living in a van, mine being a '19 GMC Savana 2500 cargo van, space is limited and I don't want to struggle with loading and offloading a "fixed" kayak. I've narrowed my choices to the origami type like yours or the Sea Eagle 330 or longer 370. Jason, your suggestions on improving the carry bag might be well worth the effort contacting the manufacturer or company. Companies pay attention to You Tubers who have large numbers of followers or subscribers.
Use a small backpack but hang it in front of you. The weight will counter the kayak weight a little and allow you quick access to things in front of you
As always another great video. The lake was amazing (except the bugs). We are so blessed to live in the Pacific Northwest where the trees are tall, the water is clear, the seasons change, and there’s always an adventure and dream just around that bend in the trail. Thank you again Jason for sharing your journey with all of us. It’s truly inspiring and helps me get through the times I can’t be out there myself. Cheers mate
Poor Daisy left with a virtual stranger 😂😂😂 My hiking & travel companion turns 15 this year, I know what it is like when your best friend gets old and cannot be with you all the time. My dog is past traveling with me so stays at home and rests when I am out but I still try and get her out a couple times a day when I am home for little walks!!
Amazing video! I love the Oru Inlet from what I've seen of it, and I'm thinking of buying one soon! Just one question though, would you say it's possible to fish out of this kayak? For someone whose poles dont break down, certain kayaks won't be the best for fishing you know? Thanks!
how does the kayak handle winds? looks like flat bottom and no skeg. I have a true sea kayak and it tracks well in winds. Friends have inflatable kayaks and they are worthless in winds and I have had to tow them back to camp.
Hello, I love your videos,, I'm in the process of watching all of your stuff from the beginning.. I have a question and you may have answered this in another video that I haven't gotten to.. the boots you wear are they comfortable.. I've been looking at them on line.. i would appreciate any info you could give me.. thanks jody
Why not get a packraft like an alpaca, that pack up a bit smaller and fit in a normal hiking bag? These origami kayaks just don't pack small or look like they don't do anything well. To each their own I guess.
My old red healer is 13.5yrs old, back end is hard on her if she sits lays very long, breathes like she ran a marathon, and is on prescription $80 dog food, is rude as hell, and will not mind in her old age.......she is our first kid got her right after we got married.
Funny thing is I'm placing an order for this kayak tomorrow. Thanks for the video!
Man, those aerial views of you kayaking were beautiful, so tranquil and peaceful. Amazing footage.
I've been keeping my eye on one of these setups. Shoutout to Gary, holding the fort down!

Loving all the extra videos......
Yup, just for the reason of being able to hike to lakes like that definitely has me interested in the Oru Kayak.
It is really handy, thanks for watching Daisy that morning.
Jason
Awesome production. Thanks👍
Happy birthday Daisy

I meant background "music"...😄
That river looked so relaxing!

Another beautiful video Jason. We are very fortunate to live in the PNW, with these areas virtually in our back yard.
Such an awesome trip 👏 love it

Another great video Jason, thanks! Happy Labor Day!
Thanks for this video
so beautiful and peaceful and calming kayak experience. Hope to try to kayak soon.
So peaceful, thanks for amazing views of Oregon 🏕

Nice lake!
Nice little lake.
Love my Oru! It’s a game changer since I can’t secure a kayak on top of my RTT.
Beautiful Jason!!!
Thanks Missy

Great video, love to get my Inlet up there
I put my inflatable kayak on a little luggage dolly to pull down the trail to the water and keep my regular pack on my back.
Beautiful video!
Great vid and great showing the capabilities of the Inlet. I was more of a problem than the kayak when I first got in. Once I got settled just loved it.
We need to get together again Bruce
That’s a really cool kayak! AND that lake is beautiful!!!! We are taking our SUP boards to a small lake near Waldo lake soon. 😄 We enjoyed the video!
🌲🦅🌲 thank you for posting your videos stay safe out there🌲🦅🌲
I love Daisy ❤️
Good stuff!

Lovely lake. What are the advantages of a folding kayak compared to an inflatable? It was nice of you to share your kaak.
Cool video buddy, awesome scenery
Wow I want to buy this kayak
It’s interesting that one lake would have mosquito issues and the other would not. I wonder why that would be. Lovely out on the water.
Very cool videos Jason..

I was gonna get one after watching this then I seen they cost $1200 ....... great vid !
Great video! Love this channel!🙂

Amazing place. Where in Oregon is that spot?

Heading out in the am clear lake need some quiet spots near and around bend any spots? I should go?
Definitely a plus being able to carry the kayak with you and it is only 20 pounds. Does it handle and paddle like a non-folding kayak?
Jason how were those light weight boots on the hike?
Make yourself a belly pack and kinda do what the canoe guys do up in Minnesota during portages.
great idea👍 thanks
Nice video I love the small lakes Hidden around Oregon!
Going to start my own solo camping soon nervous but I’ll see how it goes!

Idea: strap a backpack to your chest while having the kayak on your back
New to the channel! Do you store the kayak on top of the van? And if so, what kind of container to you put it in?
Please, what kind of boots are those you are lacing up at beginning of video???
Yay!
Which ORU Kayak do you own?
Hello, I love your videos,, I'm in the process of watching all of your stuff from the beginning.. How long have you had the Oru, and did you purchase? If so - what made you go with it?
Curious about David’s leg pouch…
Is that your shorts in the window 0:34 ? 😁 I guess, one way to dry them.
😎👍
Hello Jason
Free kayak and free stuff..must be nice
Its nice that all his hard work pays off so he gets opportunities like that.
Beautiful mountain lake. You’re using your paddle upside down, though. 😕
Hi Jason, what brand boots are you wearing they look like some kind of barefoot boots.
🤙🏻
I hope someone else gives another like real quick cuz mine just rolled it over to 666... kind of a creepy number lol...thanks for sharing Jason!
Daisey may need to spend time with you. Perhaps you should rethink this. She is the most important thing in your vid.
Who gives this video thumbs down??? lol
Chonies in the window 😘
😘

For that and many other purposes a packraft is way better.
Oh I’m sure he got that kayak for free
sarcastic TOO MUCH WORK !
