Sailing into The Great Dark Beyond feels like diving headfirst into a sea of stars. Endless mysteries and cosmic mischief are waiting to unfold-like a chaotic rock anthem in space, with riffs that would make Iron Maiden proud. Here’s hoping for some starry luck to win this!
Did you know that there are approximately 100 billion stars in the Milky Way? But that number pales in comparison to the amount of times I queued against Big spell Mage the past month! (Love the vids btw)
I just found an alternate ending to 2001 A Space Odysse where the astronaut goes through the vortex of colors and lights and ends up in a neoclassical style room where he sees Clark and Roffle jamming some Hearthstone.
Sometime when I sit outside and light myself a little of the devil lettuce and gaze into the nigth sky I feel very small. All those million miles of space and sheer infinite amounts of planets overwhelm me and every desicion in life feels very unimportant to the greater meaning of things. Space never fails to not amaze me
Flying high with my favorite alien Superman, Clark’s always got the very best plan, Warp speed with Star Trek’s crew, boldly going where it’s new, Lightsabers in a Star Wars fight, Jedi skills shining bright, Cowboy Bebop’s bounty chase, in the vastness of outer space, From galaxies far and wide, let’s take this cosmic ride, Into the Great Dark Beyond!
Haven't been this excited for an expansion in a while!.The fact that this is based in a space theme is really making all this artwork they are putting out so dazzling 🌟
I loved the Nickelodeon TMNT show growing up and while they were dealing with aliens from another dimension throughout the show I was really surprised by the season where they had to go into outer space to stop the earth’s destruction from an advanced Triceratops race. Even the shows main theme was stopped with a monologue from Leonardo to explain this sudden shift in plot at the beginning of every episode. It was crazy
The stars are as wonderful as the new cards, and even if stars are just getting far and far away from us, I hope that the cards keep coming closer and closer. Nice video!
Why did the neutron star break up with the black hole? Because the relationship was getting too dense, and it felt like it was spiraling into an event horizon of emotional singularities-no escape, not even for the speed of light! (And besides, the neutron star needed some "space" to avoid collapsing under the intense gravitational pull.)
Astel was malformed from a star that ravaged Nokron, one of Astel's variants is named "stars of darkness", which is appropriate considering its design, the flail you can tranpose represents a constellation. Radahn's boss fight leads the Nokron's eternal city, where Astel rests. This city has a strong connection between Ranni and Radahn's story. Radahn is said to hold the stars thanks to his gravity magic. This is why what happens next happens.
The vastness of space always reminds me how small our daily worries really are. Just imagine floating through the stars, surrounded by galaxies millions of light years away. This is quite good for an ogre right? xD
wow this new expansion looks absolutely out of this WORLD, some of the new neutral cards look so UNIVERSALLY good that I can't wait to GRAVITATE towards using them!!! The reveals have really ECLIPSED all my expectations and my hype this time around is LIGHT YEARS ahead of anytime before!!! absolutely STELLAR!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi Clark. Since I was about 11, I have had these recurring daydreams where my consciousness seems to disconnect from my body as it floats up into space. I’m not really sure why I’ve had these daydreams for so long. They started when I became obsessed with space and I don’t understand them to this day. The daydreams are a surreal and mind-bending experience. This is a little creative writing exercise that I wrote about what I typically imagine. Hope you find it interesting (I know this comment is already quite long). Ascending, I separate myself from the mortal plane, evacuating my body, leaving it behind, and projecting toward the night sky. The very essence of my soul breaks apart and disperses itself outward, seeking refuge in the cores of stars above. Errant fragments of me float up to the edge of Earth’s atmosphere, each speck taking its own path. The specks reconvene at the Kármán line, reintegrating, then concentrating into a tight ball of energy. Whole again in spirit-my body still an empty vessel on the ground many miles down-I prepare to traverse the barrier that separates Earth from space and the stars.
“In the vast expanse of the cosmos, every Hearthstone match is like navigating the stars-strategy is your map, the cards are your constellations, and victory is found in the heart of the unknown.” Giveawaaaay letsgooooo
As a (almost!) biologist, the space and the possibilities of different life forms makes me astonished! Loved the theme and the alien creatures-like minions (sorry draenei), as ozzy wisely said: SCARY LITTLE GREEN MEN!
Thanks for opening the floodgates in the comments. Now I'm floating in a space of endless creativity, passing by poems, anecdotes and aspirations. Also happy to see you on the ceaseless expanse videos with Blizzard!
Did you know that every day a huge variety of material falls on Earth from space, that is not witnessed on arrival, like meteorites for example are? Our hair is constantly collecting space dust from comets, and let me tell you that I'm sure it has been favouring yours lately! Beautiful colour, rivalling only with the astonishing artwork that this expansion set portraits! Cheers, and looking forward for more of your always entertaining hearthstone discoveries!
The space theme of this set is definitely my favorite of any set so far. Appearance wise, this set is near perfect. I love the card names like quasar etc.
In larger stars, after hydrogen is depleted, they begin fusing heavier elements like helium, carbon, and eventually iron. But once iron forms in the core, fusion can no longer generate energy because fusing iron consumes more energy than it releases. This causes the core to collapse catastrophically. Leading to super novas and the remains form neutron stars or black holes depending on the mass of the remaining material.
Sometimes I look up at the night sky and wonder: if I drew a straight line from the tip of my finger pointing up to the night sky all the way to the ever-expanding edge of the universe, what are the odds of my line being interrupted by any kind of celestial body? Even if I were too swing my line around recklessly, I suppose the odds would still be mind-blowingly low. This question has been on my mind for a few years, now, but I never quite know who to ask to receive a good response. Something tells me the comment section of a Clark Hellscream video would be the best option, totally not in an attempt to join a giveaway for a mega bundle.
"Space in Hearthstone? More like 'Star Wars: The Murloc Strikes Back!' When your board is full of cosmic horrors, mechs, and alien beasts, remember: even in zero gravity, RNG will still pull you down. In the vacuum of space, no one can hear you scream… except maybe Yogg-Saron, but that's because he's yelling 'Cast the entire deck!'"
Deep in the miasmic gulf of space and time , through passing meteors and the glimmer of distant planets in the orchard of light ….. blargles jimmies; rustled softly … and as they did a disturbance ( although subtle ) emanated in the chair of elders at the centre of the universe
Space, the final frontier. These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise. Its 5-year mission: to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no man has gone before
Space, The Great Dark Beyond, these are the games of the starship HELLSCREAM. Its 11 minutes & 49 seconds mission: to learn secrets and figure stuff out that Hat didn't know about, to play new cards, and to boldly go where no Roffle and no Clark HELLSCREAM has gone before.
Gotta go with the good old possibly Einstein: "Two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I am not yet completely sure about the universe."
Quasars and Supernovas happening right before my eyes, that's something new and something to look forward to. With those primordial occurences, no way am I letting an asteroid beat me!
I really appreciate the theme for this expansion, given it allows us to explore a bit more of space and draenei/eredar culture that we got very little of in wow
(Let Hunt Begin) Into the stars... To buy Candy bars... He's the Hero with a knack for inventions... he's got a superpowered mind... A mechanical canine... *bark, bark* He rescues the day from sure destruction... This is the theme song... For Rexxar!

Starship rouge will undoubtedly blast off into the great dark beyond like no other. The ability to craft starships of all classes combined will ensure thruster’s are full burn, from take off to the final destination. We will embark on a voyage boldly going where no hero has gone before
The great expanse of the dark beyond reveals just how incredible the vastness of space is, with its endless mysteries and wonders stretching far beyond what we can imagine.
As I gaze up at the night sky, I can’t help but marvel at the vast expanse of the universe. Each twinkling star is a distant sun, possibly hosting its own planetary systems, and the thought of countless worlds spinning in their cosmic dance ignites my imagination. The Milky Way, with its swirling arms of stardust and gas, feels like a grand tapestry woven by the hands of time itself. Just beyond our atmosphere lies a realm of mysteries, where black holes warp the fabric of space and time, and supernovae burst forth in brilliant displays of light, marking the end of one celestial life and the birth of another. I often ponder the possibility of extraterrestrial life, wondering if there are other beings out there, gazing at their own night skies, pondering the same questions we do. The recent advancements in space exploration only deepen my fascination. Each mission, whether it’s the Perseverance rover on Mars or the James Webb Space Telescope peering into the depths of the cosmos, brings us a step closer to understanding our place in this grand universe. Imagine the stories hidden in the shadows of distant galaxies, waiting for the right moment to unfold. In a way, the universe is a mirror reflecting our own quest for knowledge and connection. As we continue to push the boundaries of what we know, we not only explore the cosmos but also our own humanity. Here’s to the dreamers, the scientists, and the stargazers who dare to look up and wonder. The universe is a vast and beautiful mystery, and each of us has a role in unraveling its secrets.
She’s out there… Setting up camp… ...alone in a strange galaxy… Maybe, right now, she’s settling in for the long nap… By the light of our new sun… In our new home.
In first for my man Clark. It was awesome watching you on the official channel and I look forward to seeing what you pull off in the new expansion. See you on stream Mr. Hellscream!
I am looking forward to which class will rule the Galaxy in the Great Dark Beyond. The starships art is Interstellar and the Legendaries are so slick and to a T. I am looking forward to this draw. Thanks Clark, also big thanks to Zeddy too

I have seen worlds bathed in the Makers' flames, their denizens fading without so much as a whimper. Entire planetary systems born and razed in the time that it takes your mortal hearts to beat once. Yet all throughout, my own heart devoid of emotion... of empathy. I. Have. Felt. Nothing. A million-million lives wasted. Had they all held within them your tenacity? Had they all loved life as you do?

We used to look up at the sky and wonder at our place in the stars. Now we just look down, and worry about our place in the dirt.

I appreciate that this expansion has a Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy reference with the set health to 42 card.
The idea of being out in space scares me but I’m totally okay with being out in space within the hearthstone world.

Flying high with my favorite alien Superman,

From galaxies far and wide,

Into the Great Dark Beyond!
the stars don't look bigger, but they do look brighter. And you look brighter Clark
It's amazing to see you and Roffle playing on official Hearthstone Space.

Druid seemed so down to earth back in 2014, but now we know it was the cosmic horror all along.

Space is a lot like Reno, a board full of nothing and yet everything.

Not only do we live among the stars, the stars live within us. Therefore, I am ceaselessly expanding...

Alien first movie.
The space is not only stranger than we imagine, it is stranger than we can imagine.
Theorycrafters everywhere: "How long is it gonna take to get Ceaseless from 100 to 0"
Roffle: "Well, you start by removing 99"

Where does the alien go on the keyboard to get a beer? The space bar!!!!!!!!!!
In the silence of space, the universe speaks in the language of wonder and infinity.
In space, no one can hear reno wipe an entire board of starships
Absolutely loved this. Seeing that giant Starship was so satisfying!
In space, no one but Clark can hear you Hellscream.
Man, that play was really out of this world.
Space man encounters asteroids now in hearthstone

I would assume that in space you should be safe from walking mountains, but maybe that one was Everest.

When the ceaseless expanse arrives the event horizon will follow.
There are two places where no one can hear you scream: In space, and in the bathroom when you run out of toilet paper ✌️👽
