Charming interview. I actually remember Michael Nouri from Search for Tomorrow so many years ago! I remember me and my mom crying when his character died, lol. He was so talented and truly handsome, I never understood why he didn't become a huge star.
I am a friend of Michael's, we both are students of Prem Rawat who teaches people to turn within themselves to find the ultimate satisfaction. For more on that check out premrawat.com I was in a restaurant in N.Y. helping Michael rehearse his lines for the death scene you mentioned. As his wife I read "But why do you have to die" and he ad libbed "so I can get off this crummy show and do movies and Boroadway" and the whole restaurant laughed. I asked him how he could stand memorizing other peoples words and he said if he wasn't getting paid he would do it for free. One of the few people I know who found his gift and passion in life both inside and out.
Wonderful story, Istbdr. Thank you so much for sharing that experience! I truly enjoyed reading it. I'll be sure to read your response to my mother later - it will really make her day. :)
Bill I know that as a PBS TV Talk Show Host you have met and entertained all type of people from all walks of life that were intriguing in their personality and lifestyle. But with that opportunity it gave you the privilege to understand the flow of mankind from different perspectives and that was a plus in you favor because each person is unique in and of themselves. Bill thank you for being in us the viewers life you poured so much into our lives as we listened to the discussions that you had with those that you talk to on your program what a blessing I applaud you. My friend keep God in the equation of your life He is good to you and He has helped you through so much so embrace His favor and presence. God bless you from your sister in Christ in Hammond, LA.
This interview was not in 2018 as it says above. Michael is 77 years old now, here in 2023, this was not 5 years ago, he'd be 72 above if so, does he look 72? . Why can't the posters of videos on here, put the actual date the videos are made?
11/13/20: Michael Nouri is STILL FINE FINE FINE FINE. REMINDS ME OF DENZEL WASHINGTON WITHOUT THE COOL WALK 😍
The Hidden and Flashdance are great film's

That means interview was posted on my channel in 2018. The interview was from 1987 on my show in Philadelphia at the time. Thanks for watching, Bill

Just watched The Hidden again. Good action/horror movie. Michael Nouri gives a solid performance. Great actor.
