There was nazis and Hitler in old stuff made for kids and they were all perfectly fine afterwards. People are just way more overprotective over what young people see, hear and do nowadays than they were in the past.
This just feels dark. If they were actually going for a Mel Brooks type mockery of those guys or not, I don't know. I like dark/gallows humor in a kid's movie, but this seemed unnecessarily so. The "Sherman touched himself" gag was cringeworthingly funny, this wouldn't have been. And if they played this for drama, well, it's a good thing smarter heads prevailed.

NO LONGER A FAN OF YOU!!!!! It's also creepy that any animator can have social media and put stuff on there. Why the fuck did you have to handicap everything?!
