Honestly, the voice lines pretty okay. But you know what would make it great? Instead of "Alis" which means get out it should be, "Tabi/Tabe" which is short for tumabi ka or move to the side. And "That was their best, diba? Not impressed" should be replaced with, "yun na yun? Not impressed" which basically implies the same meaning, but more toxic.. Filipino style.

I love her voice lines but wished they used more “modern” tagalog phrases. Dont get me wrong they’re great, but some of the phrases don’t fit when mixed with English. For example, when she interacts with Raze she could’ve said “Ugh, wag na lang” instead of Dibale na. Both are correct but “wag na lang” (which also means nevermind) fits better since it shows more frustration/annoyance. And Im surprised there aren’t as many common filipino expressions. It would’ve been perfect if she says “haynako” after killing the last enemy on a team. That could be interpreted as the kill being way too easy for Neon. Or “ang galing ko talaga” which means “I’m so good”. Another one would be when Neons team is losing and she could say “Come on team, kaya natin to” which means “we can do this”. But other than that I still love that we’re getting a filipino character in valorant!!

I love her voice lines but wished they used more “modern” tagalog phrases. Dont get me wrong they’re great, but some of the phrases don’t fit when mixed with English.
For example, when she interacts with Raze she could’ve said “Ugh, wag na lang” instead of Dibale na. Both are correct but “wag na lang” (which also means nevermind) fits better since it shows more frustration/annoyance.
And Im surprised there aren’t as many common filipino expressions. It would’ve been perfect if she says “haynako” after killing the last enemy on a team. That could be interpreted as the kill being way too easy for Neon. Or “ang galing ko talaga” which means “I’m so good”. Another one would be when Neons team is losing and she could say “Come on team, kaya natin to” which means “we can do this”.
But other than that I still love that we’re getting a filipino character in valorant!!
