@@95fabiswa as a full Italian ( born and raised) I can tell that garlic bread as intended abroad, especially USA, is not an Italian recipe....the one which is often sold for garlic bread in US restaurants and shops etc. is laden with butter, garlic powder and a variety of cheeses and it's not Italian. We don't have it. What we have is the bruschetta. Bruschetta has garlic but it's rubbed on the bread...and then u can have it like that and extra virgin olive oil or with fresh chopped tomatoes and basil. This is the classic bruschetta. Not the garlic bread in US or Australia etc ....it doesn't exist here in Italy; not in that way.
