@Ber P. Henry didn't marry any commoners. Boleyn and Howard were cousins and 2nd cousins to Jane Seymour. They were all of noble birth. Howard was just from a lower house, but still noble. She was also a child and the victim of sexual abuse. The man she was accused of cheating with was also a known predator at court that was already pardoned for raping one noble woman. Anne Boleyn flirted with 1 guy because Henry was sleeping around. That's what these two "silly" women lost their heads over.
@Ber P. then you really don't know much about Henry VIII. Yes he was superstitious, but he was also super quick to throw a fit when his ego got bruised. Just ask King Francis. Henry packed up and left their meeting because he lost the wrestling match to Francis he started.
Anne was my favorite queen. She was a true princess like his first wife.
Anne of Cleves was most fortunate, compared to Henry's other wives. She played her cards wisely and saved her own life.

Thank you for your great video.
Personally I think Henry found her unattractive, not because of her physical appearance but because she accidently bruised his ego.
Darla Ingle I agree!

You had mentioned that Anne was Catholic and remained so. I have always heard that she was Lutheran as was the Duchy of Cleves.
Yes, the whole point of that marriage was to marry a Protestant.
You spell her name Anne. I think she was Ann. Anne was from the 2nd queen.
