You can do it, but it requires hours of watching SD Premium vids, and a lot of money in equipment. I am still not really that good at it, but I usually can muddle my way through, but there are guys that are way better than me.
@@iowatheother4986 Well a test light will tell you if the fan is coming on. I normally get my replacement wiring at harbor freight or cut it out of a harness at the junk yard.

Early can stuff like that is only partially implemented and can really throw scan tools. I'll try to do something on it.

They can be as ugly as they want to be. $150 for a Diag, and $90 to config a new module. Some people really like their PT's.
