I fell madly in love with this show and look forward to every episode with breathless anticipation. After the second season, I saw an ad for a show with Mandy Patinkin and realized that dead like me was not coming back. I purchased the two seasons on DVD. I love that show to this day. One of the greatest shows ever written.
Mandy Patinkin is like series killer. He was on Chicago Hope, too, I think best MD series before House and they stopped that series, too. I am glad criminal minds got a new start and even better with less male dominance.
I loved this show. I'm in my sixties now so was in my fourties then, and I thought it was such a breath of fresh air. Thanks so much for posting, make an old fella happy.
Thanks for dating this for me. Some time ago in the last decade I ran across this. This crew of actors was great. In the later episodes it lost some traction. But it was hilarious when the new boss who gave them the assignments had a mutiny. His body was mistreated so many times & ways that if he wasn't dead, he certainly would be.
This show was honestly some of the best TV I ever watched. Super original well casted, and well written. I was part of the campaign to bring the show back when it got canceled, I was only in my teens and I was in forums and sending emails like crazy. Miss this series still till this day.
This was one of my favorite shows and I was so upset when they cancelled it. I loved all of the characters and each episode had a bit of everything. This show made me laugh, and cry; sometimes at the same time! Thank you very kindly for sharing this with us.
This series had more effect on my life than any other. I watched it first time round, and was suddenly struck with how many things there were in my daily life which could kill me! I began to be more observant - watching out more for traffic or loose shelves, being more careful when climbing on ladders or standing in places where literally ANYTHING could go wrong. Superb series, and a real life-saver! :)
So whats the list 1. Dont stand under waffle signs 2. Dont go swimming in a storm 3. Dont clean windows drunk 4. Dont play music under falling glass 5. Dont upset swordfish by trying to dance. 6.....
I thought I’d seen just about every television series ever but I’ve never seen this! This captured my attention in the first three minutes and I’m excited to watch as much as I can find of it. 😂😂
The ending is quite disappointing, as it was cancelled after just 2 seasons and left A LOT unanswered & unresolved. I really love this show and it was SOO AGGRAVATING how they just pulled the plug with no warning or even attempt to give it a decent ending.
For a brilliant analysis of the different types of consciousness see Ramana Maharshi Be as You Are Chapter 12 Experience and Samadhi...Sahaja samadhi-the unified field of awareness or Born Again when the ego is destroyed along with its subconscious mind-unconscious mind revealing the superconscious mind 24/7.
I always thought Ellen Muth was phenomenal in this role she had just the right amount of slacker and young naivety for the role, they're all outstanding in their roles actually! Great script writing, character development all in all a rare gem!
This was so original, well written, and thoughtful. Hollyweird needs to focus on telling us something new, something intelligent, something entertaining, and then maybe they can regain some respect. Thank you for posting this example of those qualities.
I worked on this show - Season 1. Script Supervisor. The hard part about this show was that a few of the cast were very unwell during the last part of the season.
I get hook the first minute this serie is so good .I am very picky and this serie is on my top 4 with Dexter desperate housewives and lost❤❤❤❤❤ Glad i watched it 20 years ago.
Wow... I watched Dirk Gently, the British series, and a few months later someone gave me this link in the comments - YES!!! This is a KalleShow!!! I so hope I'll find more episodes... Thanx for sharing 🙏 Love from Sweden 💖 Kärlek från Källehult ⚒️
I love the show!! I'm writing a fan fiction on the back story of one character who is mysterious and some tempting clues about her are sprinkled in the show.
wow havnt cried that much in a long time. Watched this years and years ago and totally forgot about it. I still love the idea that we are all really grime reapers. After all everyone we will interact with will one day die. And for this episode in particular I love how it reminds us that it is so easy to want to give everything to make a kids life better. And remembering that is important because it inspires the idea of doing the same for everyone. We are all eachothers grim reapers.
I have seen the show every single time it has aired. It is one of my favorite shows, plus I had and still have a crush on Laura Harris who came to the show after the pilot.
My husband just happened on this show and we've been watching it ever since. It grabs you from the start. Refreshingly different, cute as hell, campy and thoroughly entertaining 😄❣️❣️😄❣️❣️
It is interesting how a tv show or movie can have an influence on a person. Really liked the diner scenes. There was an episode called “A Cook”, season 1 episode 8, where the hash slinger (cook) was making omelettes on the flat top griddle. He made his omelettes by ladling the eggs onto the griddle and then “tri-folding” them. I thought that was coolest way to fold an omelette and have been doing it ever since for over 20 years.
@@wynduu2 is it possible for you to activate subtitles? It seems to be an interesting show, but - as I am not a native speaker- I can't understand every spoken word 😟

How did I miss this show? I love the voice-overs and the fairytale-ness of the story. It’s a page turner like To Kill a Mockingbird. She dies from getting hit by a space junk toilet. I’m still laughing about that one. Suddenly, American series are on par with K dramas like Another Miss Oh, Hotel Luna, Extraordinary Attorney Wo, and It’s ok not to be ok.
It just had to be a little innocent girl that had to die. Throw in an old song and you got the formula to make an old great grandpa get leaky eyes. At 74 I must be mellowing out in my old age.
