    Not to officially tell him what's happening is disgusting. Making no formal announcement is disgusting. This is why Danny Ric left Redbull in the first place. Regardless of what you think of Danny Ric, he deserved a proper farewell.

      They already did it with kvyat. They had already decided he wouldn’t stay, yet they never made an announcement during the season even in Abu Dhabi. So he never got to say goodbye in the car. It was a few days after the 2020 season ended. Typical of the redbull clan

    It's nice to know SOMEBODY was there to document Daniel's [potential bc not confirmed STILL] last moments in F1 in such a beautiful way. I think it's crazy fans had no way to really say goodbye other than a driver of the day vote. I also think this non send off by the team puts Liam in a super awkward position for people to hate on him for nothing he has done.

    • @voongnz
      @voongnz Місяць тому +5

      No one is hating Liam for whatever has come from this situation. I'm actually hopeful that the junior team can get back to nurturing and developing new talent. It was a lucky break for DR to get back in a car to assess if he could step into RBR 2nd seat, but had trouble even beating yuki.

      I don’t think there’s anything wrong with how this is going down. Ricciardo is lucky to even be driving. Most teams would never bring back a driver that stiffed them and who wasn’t performing. He’s had every opportunity.
      Marko should be fired because he’s just no good at his job. He’s never developed and kept a successful driver through the junior program.

    Daniel has always been my favorite driver since I got into the sport and he has done so much for not only the sport of Formula 1 but Motorsport as a whole. And when you take a step back and look at the whole of his career from HRT, Toro Roso, Redbull, Renult, Mclaren, and back to Toro Roso, it's kind of a full circle moment. And when you think about it, it's kind of poetic because for a driver that always brought such big fan fair to the sport his ending has non of it. It's a sad way to leave but I bet he proud of all he has done for his career and the sport as a whole.
