To be fair ichabod saying "we too were British at the time" is correct and doesn't imply he's some sort of time traveler, the colonists of the 13 colonies were British
Well the American colonies where established by England the settler colonizers where from England. Look at there Names Washington Jefferson Franklin Adams theses are English names. That came from England. Geroge Washington great grandfather John Washington came from England Tring. He was born in Tring England. So they considered themselves Englishmen. Living in replica of England in North America. Plus America was a settler colony of England the Brtish Empire.
@Moundshroud plus the American colonies had English or North County accents which sounded kind of Irish to 21st century ears. Look up the TV series John Adams HBO series. The modern American accent didn't exist yet.
He reminds me of my social studies teacher Mrs. Bremmer. She was very enthusiastic on the importance of history and made sure everyone knew that Jefferson said “regulars”
Yeah cause silversmiths, like all blacksmiths, possess a, let's say rough touch, so would you feel comfortable with a man that hammers metal all day any where near your mouth
@@deathbykonami5487 If I were Ichabod, I´d have just forged some old notebooks from important people at the time and pretended they were passed along in the family or something to finally set the record straight. Can´t be that hard when they have a witch on call and connections to some people that are acquainted with a less legal approach to things.
I just noticed a continuity error. In season three they bring back paul revere and Ichabod mentions having seen Paul as a dentist, when earlier in this episode he seems taken aback and almost disgusted at the idea
Damion St. James true, however Paul wasn't actually a dentist in that episode, because he was pretending to be a dentist to the kids only to find and destroy the demon that was hunting them.
If I was to ever go back in time and given the chance to pass my social studies classes all over with flying colours you bet I would definitely want Ichabod Crane basically a living encyclopedia who actually lived through these moments of history to teach my social studies classes. 😉
"I'm the only one amongst you that doesn't REQUIRE medication! "
😂😂😂

What was the importance of him saying “regulars?” What was that code for constipation?
Regulars, if I remember correctly, meant “regular British” where people like Paul were Colonial British.
@@khylerbane4523 Actually, it meant soldiers. As in, regular members of the armed forces.
So, if the British were “The Regulars.” Then, that would make the Colonials: The IRREGULARS. 😉
Being a kid who grew up loving history I feel his pain the way he wants to correct people
"The man was a silver smith he is the last person you want poking around in your mouth"
Yeah cause silversmiths, like all blacksmiths, possess a, let's say rough touch, so would you feel comfortable with a man that hammers metal all day any where near your mouth
Atleast you're sure he can provide a silver tooth
You don’t want Paul anywhere near your mouth poking around inside your mouth
LOL Poor Ichabod
Miss this.
I would've said Ichabod is just a naturalized citizen if anyone asked again.
Except he knows facts about our founding fathers that aren't in the history books

He earned his citizenship the way the Founding Fathers did.

@@joshuagarner4677 yeah Paul Revere was just playing the part
The first two seasons of this show were so good! It really went downhill at season 3!
Yupp 100% agree
when they killed off Abby
Man's spittin' *FACTS!* 😂
If I had this in my senior year at high school ('82), I'd had been given a months' worth of Saturday detentions.
At that time, people still thought of themselves as British.
This actor is so hot, well is british all they are...
I love Icky!
Funny
