In India if there were a rich person...very very rich n when he is poor...he s very very poor..with a big gap between n rich n poor peoples..while in Malaysia the case is different..here we have three economic status...rich,middle n poor...n is hard to see the poorest people in Malaysia...

Malaysia is a Muslim majority country and Muslims have to pay tithes, called zakat, which go to help the poor etc. And there's a line in the Qur'an which says "what is wrong with you, why don't you help each other?". And Muslims believe whatever you give comes back to you manifold ie it's never a loss. So it's obligatory for Muslims to help each other and not just ignore a person's suffering and pain. It's about compassion and humanity.
