Reri Grist as Zerbinetta (1965, live, HD, German subtitles) - 23rd birthday special

Reri Grist (born 29.02.1932) is 92 years old, but celebrates today (29.02.2024) her 23rd birthday. As a tribute to this wonderful artist (great coloratura soprano and fabulous actress) I present here excerpts from the opera "Ariadne auf Naxos" in which she performs her signature role: Zerbinetta. This was a live performance from the Salzburger Festspiele (21.08.1965), directed by Günther Rennert, with music by Richard Strauss, performed by the Wiener Philharmoniker, conducted by Karl Böhm.
