Excerpts from "The Waltz King", 1963. Music by Johann Strauss II. Posted on the 83rd birthday of the renowned Austrian actress Senta Berger (b. 13.05.1941).
I don't know. The film credits do not indicate that Henriette was sung by someone else. Berger also made no mention of voice dubbing when writing about the film in her book. After watching the whole film, I tend to think that Berger sang herself (at age 21). She was the daughter of a Viennese musician, started singing on stage at age four, and became a pop singer in addition to an actress. The singing here is nice, but more like the voice of a pop singer, not the voice of a classical operatic soprano. Watch the whole film and decide for yourself.
What a wonderful find! Thanks for posting this.
Ela fez filmes em Hollywood. Era muito linda. Anos 60.
I love her - do you know which soprano is singing there?

Спасибо за информацию ! 👍
Thanks. A beautiful voice and a beautiful woman.
Am only 4 years younger than Santa Berger; saw many movies with her, never knew that she could sing like that! Thanks for the clip.
Alles Gute, señora Berger!
