    A cool idea would be to make a guide that would help people make there own program with factors like biological law of accommodation, fatigue management specificity. Keep up the good work man

    If you would like to make more of those - I would be fired up for one with your conditioning/ assistance finishers. I always felt that these are the most unique and fun parts about your programs.

    I started single arm bent over rows awhile back and believe they are one of the best upper back builders , i also change the height of my upper body to hit the back at different angles. I superset them with one arm cable lat pull downs. This was a great learning video, even for me at 62. PS, grew up on a dairy farm and did alot of firewood carrying and splitting.

    *Brian, been following you for years. Lately, your channel is putting out a desperation vibe. It seems like you're trying to recapture the magic of old, by focusing more on training videos, like the old days. But it's not really working. And the reason is, you're forgetting the main ingredient that made those old training videos so great......the humor! The editing in and jump cuts to black and white where you crack jokes. You have the knowledge, but so do MANY fitness youtubers. What made you stand out was the jokes. The grandfather clock part of this video.....that was the most entertaining part. You need to get back to that if you want this channel to work.*

    • @BrianAlsruheOfficial
      @BrianAlsruheOfficial  Рік тому

      Man, I’d love to believe you but back when I was doing jokes and the pandemic hit, all I got was people saying how annoying the b&w cuts where and I was losing a ton of subs with that complaint showing up multiple times in the comments so I stopped.
      Sorry it seems desperate to you my man, I’m just trying to put out info that I haven’t put out before and the picking are slim…

    Hey Brian. I know you like Bulgarian split squats, and I discovered a way to do them that eliminates your ability to cheat completely.
    I got tired of having to do them at different heights when the equipment I needed to prop my leg up wasn't available, so I started putting my foot against the wall.
    The result is that it's almost like a pistol squat, you can do it, but there is zero cheat capacity.
    Brian... I was cheating significantly more than I thought I was.

    Hi Brian. Sorry about the shoulder. I compete in the Masters division in Powerlifting and have shoulder issues (5 surgeries on the right and 2 on the left). In addition to physical therapy, stem cell treatment has really helped me. Im using my own cause it’s cheaper, but even my old tired stem cells have worked wonders for my shoulders

    I could definitely relate to your training around injury. Hurt my right wrist a while back so I kept training the left side. The right definitely caught up soon following recovery (side note: recovery is all about tolerance and gradual progression of exposure to stress, so take it easy man 👍)
    One idea for unilateral pressing would be half kneeling landmine press. Would be a refreshing challenge from DB pressing.

    Hey Brian The last few months I seem to be getting sicker and sicker from training. Like I am sick, and can't go training, and then when I feel great again, I go to the gym 2-3 times, and I get completely sick again, for another two weeks. I guess my cns is completely fucked, and I should probably take it slow a few month. Do you have any tips on how to recover faster? Because training heavy is my passion, but my body doesn't seem like it can keep up with it atm.

    • @NoOoDLe666
      @NoOoDLe666 Рік тому +1

      I know my name ain't Brian but in case he doesn't have time to respond: First and foremost; if you can then go see a doctor about this. If you can't; try and figure out what's causing your body to act this way. If it is your CNS then try building up tolerance by training a little lighter and working up to the heavy sessions. Take deloads. Your body cannot function at 110% for extended periods of time.
      Also, I don't know if you take pre-workout supplements. But see if helps to skip those. Some people are intolerant to one or two of the ingredients and feel horrible after taking them more than once.
