If you want to know more about Lauda and Hunt and the 1976 championship, you should watch the movie "Rush", wich is exactly about this two drivers and their friendship/rivalry.
I'd throw 2009 in there, for some reason people think that Button dominated that year but it was one of the most open seasons of all time. From Silverstone onwards, you really didn't have much of an idea who was going to be on pole or fighting for podiums from race to race
The big crash at Le Mans wasn't F1, it was during the 1955 24 hour sports car race, Pierre Levegh ran his Mercedes into the back of another car launching the Mercedes into the crowd. Since they race several classes of sports cars at the same time, the top classes are much faster than the lower ones. There were 4 cars on that short section of track all doing different things at the same time and well the worst possible thing happened.
Actually by 1994 San Marino F1 had become a lot safer because of efforts started by Jackie Stewart in the 1970s. Yes it was a big wake up call, but it wasn't the first wake up call as this video portrays it. It was more a reminder that you have to KEEP working on safety as the engineers will keep working on making the cars faster and lighter.
In late June 2007 one of the Ferrari team members was accused of sending 780 pages of confidential Ferrari documents to the McLaren chief designer and both were later dismissed from their teams on July 3 When the FIA investigated this for the second time in September 2007, McLaren received a $100,000,000 fine and were disqualified from the teams championship The drivers however were allowed to continue to fight for the drivers championship and just one point separated the top three in the final standings
The Le Mans accident in 1955 occurred because the three leaders were closing in on a slower car and the leading Jaguar overtook that car and then slowed himself to enter the pit lane This caused the backmarker Austin Healey to go out of control and collide with one of the Mercedes which flew in the air, crashed into the barrier and disintegrate
Britain is the most successful nation in F1 history They have 20 drivers championships with 10 different drivers and 316 race wins with 21 different drivers
They update the regulations for the cars every 6 to 8 years, to keep up with advances in technology, if they didn't we'd be racing really outdated cars. The 2021 Abu Dhabi Race issue is incredibly complicated... it's all about pace cars and race restarts after and accident... it's nerdy stuff. But the essential part of it is the race director changed the rules on the last lap(s) of a race to make a "Grand Finale" without considering the reaction of certain teams and fans to rules being changed mid-competition (something I think is unfair regardless of who you support). The outcome of it was we were denied the opportunity to witness a world record being broken, because Hamilton currently sits equal to Schumacher on Championship Titles (7), but had the race director follower the rule book exactly, Lewis would now be statistically in the lead (with 8).
all teams were informed that they would do whatever they can to end under green flags. Merc gambled and chose not to pit to keep track position incase the race didn't restart or didn't let drivers unlap themselves during safety car and they payed the price for it. Yeah there was a weird safety car but putting all the blame on the SC is just wrong. Lewis also broke rules in turn 5 lap 1 yet you hear almost nobody talk about it. At the end of the day both Lewis and Max deserved it but Max was the better driver during the 2021 season and to say otherwise is pure copium.
Schumacher won the opening four races in 1994 and dominated the championship until Britain when he got black flagged and received a two race ban later in the year Hill won all three of those races as well as the Belgian Grand Prix when Schumacher was disqualified again which allowed him to gain 40 points in the second half of the season
@@Venezuelan_Girl Schumacher had a 37 point lead after seven of sixteen races in 1994 Six races later, after two disqualifications and the two race ban, that gap over Hill was just one point (76-75) and both scored 16 points over the next two The final tally was 92 for Schumacher and 91 for Hill
@Venezuelan_Girl He is not lying Fran. Half the reason I've been a sub of yours for a little over a year. The other half I like watching you learn about stuff I like..😁🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🇬🇧♥️
Why another regelation, because f1 is always changing, the cars needs to get slown down, because if we stay with 1 set of regularions than the cars would just get faster and faster, and we are now at the point where we are at the limit of the human Body, the other thing is, tryjng to make the racing on track better plus they try to get net zero towards 2030 i think. And yeah domination comes from the rule Changes, somebody understands the new regulations the best and builts a car who dominates, The others than need to catch up. For example in 2024 we had a lot of multiple winners Verstappen Norris Piastri Leclerc Sainz Hamilton Russell All won more than 1 race this season and with a stable set of rules for 2025 we expect one of the best seasons f1 has seen. 2024 started with verstappen domination but became a classic when we hit european ground. Than in 2026 we have completely brand new regulations, beautifull cars, im exited for it because it gives a chance to a different Team to get a jump start and understand it, shaking the Performance levels maybe. Plus new cars are always good to look at, saddly in 2026 i expect to have not multiple drivers in a championship fight, but i hope that one or 2 teams are on the same level of Performance to give us a Championship fight. For example i would love to see a reaction to the video F1 2026 regulations, whats really changing from formula addicts

3:16 They returned as an engine supplier, but it was actually 55 years before they returned as a Formula 1 team
Best seasons are probably 1976, 2021, 2010, 2012, 1950, 1988, 1989, 1990, 2007, 2008, 2009, 1980, 1982 and even more!
1986 was also a beautiful championship!
Tell me you have 0 formula 1 knowledge without telling me you have 0 formula 1 knowledge

Hunt became a commentator for the series from 1979-1993 and Lauda worked for Ferrari, Jaguar and Mercedes

and 2024
Loving your reaction, Post notification always on😅
With the active suspension system they were using, Williams won 20 of the 32 races across 1992 and 1993 (10 of 16 in both seasons)
Prost and Senna scored a combined seven championships, 92 wins, 98 pole positions and 186 podiums
happy new year!!!, u should react to more of roman hill's videos like this one, it's very informative in my opinion
cheers!

Team LH will always cry 😂😂🤣🤣
Come on now, that is not what happened
Had the race director followed the rule book, all cars would have been allowed to unlap themselves and we´d have the exact same result
