Going into a crack a book right before night fall with 54 health(carrying a stack of bandages), while sporting a sprained leg he's been running and jumping on for 30 minutes, and +10 overburdened, saying "this will be fine", is quintessential Glock 9.
He likes to play the "f*ck around and find out" version of 7D2D. It's also why his guns are never loaded, and he always puts his ammo in the bike.
That 'Rogue Nerds Refuge' is one of the bare-bones poi's they included. You will find others like it in cities that have 0 skulls. They're to help frame rate since they take up space but aren't full of zombies/loot. They still do have some loot and zombies but not like a standard POI.
...and he got a LOT more books than the T1 crackabook. Close to the T2, probably in part because of the desert loot bonus.
it also feels like it's being prepped to be a base POI for a future npc faction.
This is such BS, the cities are full of these useless 0 POIs, I guess we can thank console tards for this?

They promised some POIs we could use as easy early game pre - mades all the way back around alpha 17 when they started to turn all buildings into POIs with laid out routes n lootroom n stuff.
Peeps wanted something they could take over as naked so to speak.
Funnily enough the Master Chef skill is actually useful now, even on lvl 1. It lets you cook faster and with 20% less materials. So one grilled meat only takes 4 raw meat pieces.
Food is rarely a nuisiance, unless you're playing with limited resources.
@eduardoguimaraes7447 Animal spawns were nerfed in 1.0. Apparently, the higher zones have plenty, not the forest.
Physician is really strong too, especially when your playing with someone that’s prone to getting jumped by a group of zombies .

Those pop up tents on the roof of the library, they can be looted now. I was pretty thrilled when I found that. And when you liot them they deflate and collapse a bit. Very cool

Other creators either take this game too seriously or not serious enough, Glock is the perfect happy medium plus funny as all hell 👌
Tips for Hunting: I invested in the tracking perk of animals. It does help to see the rabbits and chickens when squatting (green icons show you were they are). I found it best to hunt in the forest away from buildings. My food worries are gone now.
We need a G9 mod that replaces sounds with Glock's voice. Example : "Whack" whenever you hit something with the sledgehammer.
Or when a zombie falls down, its him saying "whhhooops!"
Every time dawn comes the game says "wassup"
Anytime you interact with a door he says CLOSE THAT DOOR

The gear that gives you a chance to get double the magazines when reading is OP. It procs way too often to not use when reading magazines early game.

Interesting tip on Library's if your not aware, my Library has thousands of movies on DVD, BLU-RAY and 4K. They also have Videos games for old and current platforms. Why buy when you can play for free? 🤔😁 👍Oh yea they have books too! LOL
I agree on the vehicle front. It was best when you had to put down a chassis and then put the rest in it. The quality of engine, wheel, and battery mattered as they made the vehicle better. Plus you could always upgrade it later.

Level 3 armor is defiantly worth crafting, because you open up another mod slot. Also I am not sure if this is a glitch or by design. I was able to put a single and a double pocket mod on one piece of armor.
Yes, you can put multiple pocket mods on armor as long as they are not identical mods.

o skull POI's are called remnants. They have no end loot and will never be a quest poi. Added in to flesh out city landscapes with low game intensive buildings.
Nothing better than coming home from work to get a face full of Glock
Hi here's a heads up grab all the potted plants they stack take them home set them out and use your shovel to dig them up so you get the clay quest faster
I totally agree about the engine degrading and quality upping things, but batteries? I'm not sure how they'd effect anything. Unless a better battery degrades the engine slower due to the alternator charging it easier. Just in practical terms it feels like nerfing the vehicles just to make it more difficult without a real world reason. I get the whole reliability argument, but that adds a whole argument of extra difficulty, like gun jams. Make it all like a 'realism' mode option.
Nope, there was absolutely a reason why they made that change from vehicles. Green batteries and engines made it so you drove too fast. Causing Pois and land to not load making it nearly impossible to go anywhere without the game breaking whilst driving a vehicle even a minibike.
Wow, Cop cars loot are kindda generous on this version, he could even find a sniper rifle on the wasteland at this rate.

Max Daring Adventurer is one of the best. Glock and so many others make liberal use of the traders, so having a perk that lets you get two rewards at once, even Tier Up rewards, is pretty awesome.

A Horde of Zombie Nerds passed through and checked out all the books before Glock got there.
The Library has a couple offices with books and three floors of bookshelves with a small amount of books on each floor, plus the little single book and magazine piles lying around; honestly based on what I counted I'd say it had more than your average Crack a Book.

You really should craft armor when you hit the tier for more mods. Get the buffs you want in the beginning, then when you can get level 3, upgrade your armor slots, same at level 5 and obviously level 6. Level 3 armor is 2 mod slots, 5 is 3, and 6 gives you 4. The level 6 buffs from the added perks are all insanely useful, especially if you build around the theme you want (tankiness, looting, damage, harvesting, etc).

The preacher outfit adds 5 percent chance to not get infected i think - thats why you were getting so lucky with your RNG maybe?!
Maybe if they added keys to the game and the battery rating had to do with how easy it was to start. But as it is once you start the battery it doesn't do much. Of course if you did have a weak battery putting in a vehicle could charge it up. Lot of things they could do.

Hey Glock, I don't know if they have changed it, because I have started a new game in v1.0 based on Agility since I always play strenght tree branch. But Stone Sledgehammer is the best.
Iron and Steel packs more power, but Stone is faster and use less stamina, which is better for your early level character. You have more damage per minute.
1 vs 1 there is no difference.
2 vs 1 there is no difference.
But when there is 3 vs 1 you'll see what I am talking about.
If there is 2 runners vs 1 you will love your stone sledgehammer and will never let it go.
Later game it would not matter anymore, the amount of ammo you get is insane.

Some places have 3 red and an orange skull so maybe the orange is half skull?
The orange skull always denotes the biome difficulty. forest is 0 skull, burnt forest is half skull, desert is 1 skull, snow is 1 and a half skull, and wasteland is 2 skull.
With 3 red and an orange it means its a tier 3 POI, and is in the desert.
Agree with the engine/ battery quality affecting vehicle stats. I wouldn't have the engine degrade per se, but rather have speed and fuel efficiency degrade with the vehicle's condition.
Anything past the bicycle needs a vehicle repair kit. In addition to the forged iron / duct tape, they also need mechanical parts, electrical parts, and oil.
Maybe 2 different vehicle repair kits, minibike/motorcycle, and one that needs more parts for the 4x4/gyro.
Except when you realize they removed that feature because you would drive too fast with a green-quality battery and engine. This caused the game to break making Pois and land not load.
@@cosmicsilhouette3858 make the current level for quality 5, and the ability to craft quality 6 a bump up. Shouldn't unbalance things too much.
Crafting batteries and engines can go in the vehicle mags tree and scale up like armor does. Going to be a lot of mechanical parts, oil and acid. Forged steel too. People will have to decide if building that minibike early is really worth it or not!
Also, a saddlebag mod for bike/mini/moto that adds an extra row of storage would be nice. Maybe slows the vehicle by 5% as a tradeoff.

I don’t care enough to go back and count but I think the library put out 30+ books. Didn’t look like a lot and 0 skull location but a great find.
They changed lock picking in the next update. I used 15 lock picks on one safe and ran out. The next time I used another 8 and ran out. Maybe bad luck? If not, not a good change.

Y'know the library was one of the better places to hang out in my hometown, cus the only other 2 places to hang out since every business in existence left town were McDonald's and the local park. I didn't care about McDonald's cus of all the really old people that took up all the tables, and I didn't care for the park cus the cops were always there cus of idiots selling drugs out in the open or getting into fights for no reason.
