Cool video. The Greenbrier River Trail is a gem. One of my favorite places on earth. I've seen bears, lots of small turtles, a HUGE snapping turtle (near Denmar), eagles, and even an egret once.
I enjoyed this little video and looking forward to my upcoming out and back from Cass to Caldwell and back starting 02/25/2024. We touched base this morning on FB. Keep riding and making videos!!

@@GoingOffTheTrailz-tu3ly I’ve done the creeper trail, and the new river trail is on my list! Just realized how close it is and may try to hit it before May this year!
I saw some on a farm, none on the trail. I need to get the right tires and once I get that sorted out I’ll try to bike it again, I wanna spend some time trying to sport more eagles!
Hello !! Since starting to watch your videos, my list of trails to bikepack has gotten longer !! I’m a tight wad and also pack all my food. I do peanut butter wraps for breakfast and the tuna pouches in a wrap for my main meal along with maybe a Ramen or Knorr something or other. I travel with my little dog too 😊
For me, any one getting motivated to check out trails I’m doing is a massive compliment! Thanks for commenting, I really appreciate it! You ever get tired of the tortilla wraps? Sometimes they got hard to choke down lol
@@TheBane1979 I get the fajita wraps but honestly wouldn’t know the difference. Sometimes the dog’s food that comes in the pouches looks pretty appealing 😆😂 I just started bikepacking earlier this year (recently retired) and so far I’ve checked off about 20 rail trails in Pennsylvania and a couple in NY and one in Ohio. I’ll be having to drive further from home now to continue checking them off. So much fun for me. I don’t do all the work that you do with filming etc., but I do take photos and videos on my iPhone to post on FB.
@@deniseemory4359 I just tried to send ya a friends request on fb, but it won’t let me. Won’t let me send a message either lol I started off with pics myself and a few friends suggested I start the channel. It’s a lot of work. I just started biking last year myself.
Hey, dude, did you park your car in Caldwell., and if so, was it safe. The reason I ask is because I am thinking about coming up there, and everybody says park there
Cows, cool tunnel, cool bridge, Christmas lights… looks like quite the adventure!
The greenbrier is a great trail! About all I do at this point is hike and bike. It’s a cheap hobby once you’re geared up lol
I think all these cows just want some face time in your videos !!!! LOL Stay warm and be safe !
😆 ok, that’s funny lol
The other cows was concerned, they was moo’n and trying to come out. I was a little nervous lol
Good luck with the weather. Great to see you back out on the bike.
Thanks! I think I’ve got the cold figured out…mostly. Just need to keep at it

I’m about three hours away, I plan on making it down more for sure!

I hope you enjoy it, keep in mind the pumps are locked up so you might wanna take a filter for water!

Looking forward to biking this trail in the next couple of years. This year it's southern Virginia. Nice video.
What’s in southern VA? I’m always looking for the next thing to do!
I'm gonna do The New River trail , it's about 58 miles long. Also gonna try to do The Virginia Creeper trail. Look them up they're pretty nice Trails.

Lots of bald eagles along the Greenbrier River. Did you encounter the little sheep gang that has been known to patrol the trail?

Yea, both trips I’ve parked there. I haven’t had any issues and it’s where every one has told me to park as well.
