We hear from Hugh Hefner, Peter Bogdanovich (who spoke to everyone but 20/20), Dr. Steve Cushner (friend and former housemate of Dorothy Stratten), Mario Casilli (Playboy photographer) and Louise Hoogstraten (sister of Dorothy Stratten). In her interview, Louise vehemently denies having a romantic relationship with Bogdanovich - the man she would later marry.

💯 Me too! She was loved & cherished by so many people. It was her gentle compassion, kindness & loyalty that, tragically, led to her death. She believed that she could help him & that she owed him because of their history & shared dreams. A truly tragic case! 😔
Peter Bogdonovich was buried next to Dorothy Stratten in January of 2022.❤ at Westwood Village Memorial Gardens across the way from where Hugh Hefner was interred next to Marilyn Monroe in 2019.

Well, I don't know, I wasn't there, but they did a good job of debunking Bogdanovich's claim that Hefner sexually assaulted Dorothy. And Peter did marry her sister, Louise; and her suit against Hefner was dropped. So there's that. In the end, three men did struggle over, or have influence over, this woman and she was brutally murdered by one of them. Such a sad story. All gone now, three in the same cemetery.
