  • As Javier and I experienced a Very Turbulent Arrival Triggering LOW FUEL Alerts. This flight in the Cherokee Six originated in Kentucky and ended at Centennial, CO. I had to pick up the Cherokee Six from Kentucky and bring it back for an annual inspection.

Love it. 2 reasons to be thankful, One, you're not in south eastern New Mexico and two, you're not in a hot air balloon! Thanks .

Good job Raul and it’s great to see a parent teaching a son ! Most young people only know how to play video games.

Hi Jimmy! You make such a great point. I made it a purpose of mine not to allow them to be consumed by video games. Thanks for sharing! 😃

I feel your pain, this must have been a few weeks ago, as it was turbulent everywhere….
We had a rough flight we’re editing now!

Turbulence is a bit annoying but it’s very common from western Kansas getting worse as you get closer to the Front Range. Sometimes it gets very brutal! I remember during my instrument training it was bumpy for most of my training then I had my check-ride on a rare smooth day and it just felt way too easy 😀. I flew back from Kentucky again yesterday and it was a similar situation.

I flew to Gila Bend from Tucson for "cheap" gas a week or so ago. I wanted to get the AWOS from Buckeye airport because Gila Bend didn't have weather. It was so rough, I couldn't even read the frequency from my tablet. So I gave up and just landed on the runway others in the pattern were using. Around Phoenix, just pick an airport, and there will be a half dozen training aircraft in the pattern! I think Centennial has the same problem.

As it stands, Centennial is the 7th busiest private jet airport in the US. But, as congested as it is, it also offers 3 runways simultaneously with parallel takeoffs and landings. 17R/35L is the designated pattern runway while 17L/35R and 10/28 are available for normal traffic. There are times when the pattern will get full and no more traffic will be allowed to enter the pattern. When I train, I’ll just go to remote airports to do my Instrument Approaches. And yes, you also make a great point about going out for cheaper fuel 😀

I sent their marketing an email to see about sending me one that I could try out and make a video about them but they never even bothered to respond. I’ll probably stick to my old el cheapos 😁😁😁
