- Hailie Jade and her fiancé, Evan McClintock, recently celebrated their engagement with an epic bash. Evan popped the question in February and in a recently resurfaced episode of her podcast, ‘Just a Little Shady,’ Evan revealed that he asked her famous dad, Eminem, for his blessing to marry his daughter.

Props to em, but everybody's talking about despite the drama she turned out great, while this is true, let's be honest. The moment you hear that Em skipped the grammies so he could lay on the couch and watch cartoons with Hailie, you already know who she was gunna turn out to be. He was very active in her life and kept his celebrity status second, and fatherhood first, aswell as separating the two. Lot of artists, hell parents can't say the same. Big ups to Em

I wouldn't chalk it up to that. "All the means" come with the bad influence and money to do bad things. I think he did well on his own effort. Pulled himself up for their sake - even back when Mockingbird came out, he now regrets the song, for he was under the influence of drugs during that time; he never wanted to drag his daughter into the spotlight like that (he admitted all of that himself). Yet he managed. He even adopted two other girls and they all didn't show up on the news for any transgressions and Hailie even studied psychology. They don't seem estranged either.
