At 24:17 you mention your remix to the twilight cleric. I cant find this anywhere. Is this remix public? I have a player wanting to play a twilight cleric and fear it would break some combats you designed with a nerfed twilight cleric in mind (like strahd) Btw huge thanks for all the CoS content you two produce!
@@wolkensieger1487 You're welcome! And I haven't published it anywhere, but here's my version of the TC: (1) Twilight Sanctuary requires Concentration, has a radius of 15', and grants THP equal to the caster's WIS modifier; and (2) Steps of Night requires concentration and immediately ends upon entering bright light, its user gently floating to the ground when the effect ends.
Really incredible interview by two of the most prominent CoS creators out there! I've been a long time supporter of Dragna and have used his work extensively in my own CoS game. Also, thank you Pyram for the generous shoutout for my Ravevnloft maps! It's always a pleasure working with you and congrats on another great interview.
About unbalanced encounters: I think there are some work arounds to make them work. First of all you should make it clear at session 0 that not all encounters will be balanced so that players can expect this. Also you can make intelligent monsters have objectives rather than just trying to kill the player, hags may capture the players and force them into a deal cursing them… Strahd may want to defeat the players Just to humiliate them or make them suffer by killing a friend in front of them. There can be really a lot of reasons to not kill the characters and build on that in unexpected ways. Also there’s ways to bring back dead characters that can work easily in dnd 5e.
Just got around to watching this, great content please keep it up. I also subbed to Kofi earlier today, are there any plans to update older foundry files for version 11? The maps that do work are beautiful by the way!
Yes, I am releasing 2 per month. I post a monthly release schedule and also make announcements on Discord. You can find a full list on the website. Thanks for your support.
Will you be opening up more spots on your Patreon soon? I went to try to get curse of Strahd for Foundry but all I could do was the $5 pledge per adventure. I was confused, I would like access to all your content!
I moved to Ko-Fi in January. All my content is there. ko-fi.com/pyramking/tiers You can find out more on the website FAQ pyramking.com/faq/ Thanks for your support
Oof, that PF2e ignorance. Way more tactical than 5e, the only thing the character creation choices influence are identity. I'm running CoS in PF2e and it's been an absolute blast. Everything feels so much more meaningful and serious. Played it in 5e, it's ok, but even Dragna doesn't even run it vanilla, you have to buff the shit out of everything for anything to have any real stakes or value.
Thank you so much for having me on! It was an absolute pleasure to talk shop with you. ❤ 🦇
Thank you for taking the time and sharing your insights!

Really cool interview! I dropped a longer comment on the Reddit, but I especially liked the description of the player type characterization chart. :D
Can’t wait to listen to this! Two pillars of the community coming together 🎉
Can't wait to hear what you think! Hope you enjoy :)
@@DragnaCarta I did very much so! I’m using your guides and they’ve enhanced my game very much! Keep on doing you man!

Totally agree. PF2e is much more tactical. In 5e you can make a broken build and win the game solo. In PF2e it's all about team work.
Am i insane? I am looking for the player quiz Dragna created. I am unable to find it.
I believe it is on his Patreon.
