We were at a loss because the freelance video crew we hired to shoot this didn't take care to shoot the watches separately. Sean and his team wouldn't have made that mistake, but I was the only person on the AV side that made the trip to Hong Kong. Best, Tim
Then couldn’t you have at least taken photos of them with your phone or found photos on the Internet? This interview is unwatchable without seeing the watches you are discussing.
I couldn’t finish watching this episode because I wanted to be able to see the watches. Hopefully they’ll re-edit the video and put in photos of the watches so we can enjoy as well.

@@the1916companywatchreviewsCould you have got John to provide footage of his watches separately? Probably not the most professionally thing to ask, but not seeing the watches ruins the whole video
Sorry watchbox but this one drops the ball, no close shots of the watches which is kinda the point of these discussions and the sound is awfully echoy. This is not the usual quality of this format.
Hi Tim, we can forgive the bad sound, we understand not always you are in the perfect room and with the best mic, etc. That we cannot forgive is we couldn’t seeing the watches… all of them specially the first one that belonged to his dad, you both spent a lot of time talking about describing it and we expecting to see the watch….. Improve for the next one, thanks!!!
I’m sure you had a great experience but you’re doing this for a viewing audience or not? A difficult watch unfortunately. Show us the watches! Couldn’t finish the video because of this
Talking about all the detail that makes each watch unique and exciting without actually showing the viewers the watch close up is a huge missed opportunity.
really need to see the watches in these videos - simply cutting in iPhone videos from the collector would be enough, but not seeing them is quite frustrating. Maybe you can re-edit this
Great concept but execution could be improved on the audio - the interviewers Mic was not working as well as the interviewee. I too would very much like to see the watches not the people talking sorry!
101 comment! Yo, what's up everyone? It's your favorite commenter here with another video feedback. Today, I'm going to be reviewing out this video by the talented creator. Let me tell you, this video is absolutely amazing. I'm not even kidding. It's so good that I'm actually starting to feel a little empowered. I mean, how can someone be so talented? Seriously, though, this video is a must-watch. It's informative, entertaining, and just plain good. So what are you waiting for? Go check it out right now!
Terrible video. This video showing us how you shouldn't accord the video. What is a point of this video? I mean it's a great collection of watches, I gess, I don't know, I never saw any of "preseted"watches in the video. All I saw that is a two persons who speak about some watches, but which one watches? good questionm coz don't know, never showed in the video... You get a point I gess? next time when you make a video, make some directli frames of the watches you tallking about
Tim, what were your rank and NEC upon leaving the US Navy? My son suffered a significant barotrauma while at Panama City and was discharged after a Naval career 20 weeks (including his time in basic and the hospital). 🫡🫡🫡
Loved the episode. Would be even better if you had close ups of the watches

@@the1916companywatchreviewsstill photographs would have sufficed
I wish there were pictures of these watches in the video too alongside the commentary
ditto....need the pic for our viewing pleasure
Was the camera man sleeping? Couldn’t see any of the watches up close.
It would be nice to see the watches??
I couldn’t finish watching this episode because I wanted to be able to see the watches. Hopefully they’ll re-edit the video and put in photos of the watches so we can enjoy as well.

Great content, but I couldn’t bare to continue watching it without the pics of the watches. Much love tho.

No close ups of the watches is so frustrating!
John Liu "this dial is soo unique...."
Me "let me see it!!!"
Sorry watchbox but this one drops the ball, no close shots of the watches which is kinda the point of these discussions and the sound is awfully echoy. This is not the usual quality of this format.
What an articulate collector! A bummer we couldn’t see close ups, but the images painted by his words were a great consolation!
Agree to the comments, close ups are must for watch enthusiasts like us to see..

What watches am I looking at 9:24 ? After all these years, Tim fails to deliver. Then there’s an audio & video problem. What’s going on?
Abandoned when I realized that you weren't going to show any of the watches you were talking about. Brave editorial choice...
Tim it’s a brilliant conversation we just need a view of the watch
Please edit the video and add pics of actual watches. Very frustrating to hear these amazing stories and not being able to see the
Great story on the first watch, but I checked out upon realizing I wasn’t going to see it.
It's a bit odd that there are no close up shots. I'm moving to something else.
i wish there's a close up shot with his collection :)
These videos are a little useless if we can’t see the watches alongside. Show the watches, not your faces 😅
There seems no close shot of the vintage Patek?
Very cool collection! So nice to see you in HK, Tim! Send my best regards to Josh!! Best, Amintas
Great "podcast"... no visuals of the watches?
Unfortunately this amazing collection is not available for our eyes! Next time please think about your viewers!😥
Another fascinating interview. Every time I watch Tim I learn something new.
The only thing missing was the pictures of all these watches. Superb interview
Please show more of the watches. That is what people came to see. So frustrating.
Watched the first 5 minutes only, frustrated not being able to see the watches. Come on Tim, I thought you are more professional than that!?
Tim is not the canera man. He is a watch expert and interviewer
Yes what’s the point if I can’t see the watches
Come on man
What are u thinking
Ummm, why can’t we see the watches?
Nice conversation, lousy camera work not showing the watches. I stopped watching after several minutes.
What the heck is this? Where are the watches?
Hey Tim, please , it's makes no sense to talk about watches when we can't see them...
really need to see the watches in these videos - simply cutting in iPhone videos from the collector would be enough, but not seeing them is quite frustrating. Maybe you can re-edit this
What a cool episode. I really really enjoyed this video Tim. Thanks so much for hosting this conversation and kindest regards.
Honestly not sure what’s the point when we can’t see the watches.
What is a point just talk if we can not see what is on the table?
A true connoisseur who buys what he likes and no hype. Thank you Tim for bringing light to John's wonderful collection.
Great dialogue. Thanks! I just watched the whole video. Thankyou both!
FYI : You forgot to show the watches🙈
What's the point of talking about your watch collection for 🐌48 minutes when we CAN'T SEE what they look like? 😄
Loves every minute of it.
The b-roll for the Homage to Walter Lange is actually of Richard Lange Pour le Mérite 😅
This is nearly pointless when we can’t see the watches
Amazing episode
WB needs someone to uplifts their vids. A cool conversion without watch closeups is kinda amateurish at this point.
That was basically a podcast.
Great concept but execution could be improved on the audio - the interviewers Mic was not working as well as the interviewee. I too would very much like to see the watches not the people talking sorry!
Terrible production when we can’t see the watches
No watches, no watch.
Kinda strange choice to not let us see the watches?

How ridiculous not to show the watches?
Simply amazing.
Once I realised they don’t show the watches I stopped watching
Ok….we are talking about watches, but it would be better if we could see the watches too….
Tough to do this episode without B-roll footage
I'm very happy for him but without seeing these watches...it becomes very boring. While the stories are great, we are all here to SEE the watches.
NOTHING TO SEE HERE - WORST EPISODE EVER
no stills of the watches...stopped watching.
That's not a 1815 Homage to Walter Lange; it's a Richard Lange Pour le Mérite. How can both Tim and John, the owner, made such mistake??? Lol
NEED MORE CLOSEUPS!!!!! At least insert some B roll or stock photos.
No close up of that Rolex at the beginning, Overture?,ah Tim,?Maate.?
Did not continue as the details of the watches were not shown
Mr Liu is not showing his hype watches. He chose to go under the radar.
Useless if we can’t see the watches
00:20 Nice one! Bless
more proof that tim is an absolute menace to watch world……. just like me, poor john spent 10s of thousands because of mosso videos 😮
audio needs work. close up of watch needed too
what happened with your hair?
please get a haircut tim...
A presentation tray or at least a nice big piece of textile could have been nice. It's cringy to put them back on that surface.
@3:31 💨
The sound sucks! And no pictures of watches 😅 unsubscribing
🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
This video is pointless with no close ups. Huge fail. Gave up after 1 minute.

Almost fell asleep watching lol. What a boring dude haha! His collection is just whatever and just old. Only one I kind of like is the AP sector dial.
Amazing video! Let's talk about watches and NOT SHOW THEM!! Genius ! Penedjo maricon
Watchbox need better video editors and camera team. Embarrassing.
