I am in LOVE with your blueberry waffle socks! Also your Nightshift is stunning, I have yet to knit anything with my handspun but this may motivate me to!
Thanks for a long episode, it was just what I needed. I enjoyed the lighting and taller view of you in this episode. Loved seeing your finished objects and wips. I love seeing the slideshow of FOs from the stash down KAL too, including my own 😉
I was your Nightshift!! 😂 it looks perfect for cuddling up on the couch as a pseudo blanket. ETA: the lighting at the end was alright! No weird shadows. And I had to laugh because my husband also doesn’t care about my knitting 😂 He’s very supportive but he can’t keep my projects straight so he just doesn’t ask too many questions lol
Your Nightshift is beautiful, congratulations on your hand spun, and it was lovely to see your Attune shawl underway. I looked at projects made by others and think you’ll be fine with a plain border, for what it’s worth. And your Corner to Corner 😍 I get what you mean by clown barf, but my first thought was how joyous it was. Ebony is hilarious, always love to see her, whether it’s just her tail as a periscope, or a glimpse of her through the doorway, leaping at something.
Love your Nightshift, it is gorgeous!!! Your handspun is perfect for it. It's fantastic. Yay! I love that you did the Shadow Wrap Heel! It's so great, isn't it? I usually use Mina Philipps Modified Heel Flap Adjustment to add a couple more rows to the heel if I need it. The socks you're making are so great - those colors! 😍The shawl is stunning! I know it will be amazing, whenever you are able to do it. Haha! Your handspun really shines in that, and the HF works to complement it nicely.
Another great episode! Your shawl is stunning. The color you choose to extend it was just right. It looks intentional. Your comment about Shane not caring about your knitting made me smile. It sounds like my husband's noncommittal "it's nice" when I say what do you think? regarding my knitting and spinning. Thanks for doing your podcast.
Love how your Nightshift turned out! I am also knitting the Attune currently. I can watch TV but I can NOT carry on a conversation while working on it. I ended up making a check sheet for stitch count for every increase row through the end. I am loving how it feels and hope I can get to the border section before our road trip at the end of the month. I can’t wait to see how your Attune looks on your next podcast!
Hi i actually found you wile looking at random "what's in your notions pouch" videos and wanted to see what a "normal" podcast was like and i really enjoyed it! I am now a subscriber! As for your breosh and fishermen's stitch shawl.... i JUST today finished a WIP that was on time out for several years! It was a heavily cabled scarf. i started it in 2019 and because it was so focus intensive i just put it up for time out and i got it back out in June of this year. I would knit 1/3 of a repeat a day (repeats were 24 rows) then advanced to a 1/2 a repeat till i was done!! i called it my vegetables knitting (can't knit on the fun stuff until you knit up you daily vegetables knitting intake lol) I am so glad I did that now I will have a beautiful scarf for the fall ... ohh that might actually count for your knit along?? not sure if wips are aloud i would have to see the video where you talk about it LOL
Welcome!! Yes, WIPS are allowed for the KAL! Basically as long as the yarn is older than 2023 yarn, it counts!!! I love your idea of vegetable knitting!
Lovely as always. The lighting looked great. I could see you and the yarn goodness wonderfully
Thank you! I love having a knit night with you 😊
Your Tolsta looks so nice on you and fits you so well. Good work! Thanks for the episode, Kristin!

Your Nightshift Shawl is awesome. I think of raised beds of flowers all laid out in visual wonder. I ♥ your floofy kitty!
Your Nightshift shawl is gorgeous!
I love how much you’ve progressed with your hand spun! It’s very inspiring, maybe someday I will learn how to spin.
So nice to hang out with you and finish up a sock!

yes, ebony's food is right outside on the shelf outside my office, so whenever she jumps up there it is for her food or water
Love your podcast, your nightshift shawl is amazing. Must look to see what I can include in your knitalong

Just found this podcast . I really enjoyed it.

Haha!!! half the time when I show shane a project he says " It's a (insert item here)"... That's about all the feedback I get!

Oh how fun you are making the Attune too!! I have enjoyed working on it, and totally agree it is not a conversation friendly project!
Oh I just found your channel and you have the most beautiful voice 😮😍
Aww, thank you so much. That is so kind
