Here is my follow up video on my interaction with Hermes Online Customer Service, as well as what my SA and local Hermes Boutique did to resolve my brand new BUT broken bag situation!

Haha!! I had a feeling you’d def prefer the size GM over PM! I’m pleasantly surprised i don’t find the GM too big - and it’s soooo roomy holds a ton - very useful with a toddler!! ❤ Kiki

As for an update on my case with the partially attached handle/strap, they responded to my email and told me to return it for further inspection. I ended up returning the orange Bride a Brac that I had ordered afterwards without even opening it because I just didn't feel like I wanted it anymore. Then, I had ordered a Herbag and the hardware had a DENT on it UNDER the plastic covering. The plastic covering wasn't damaged, so it appears the hardware was damaged beforehand and was put into the "new packaging" afterwards...
Let me tell you I am SHOOK. I have never gone in person, only have ordered on their website because of the convenience and I just want pieces that I love from Hermes but honestly, I can't believe the things I've ordered have been such MISSES. Even the Chypre sandals I ordered had a tiny flaw, but I just didn't bother raising any concerns with that. I don't expect perfection, but if an item is clearly defective/damaged coming from Hermes, gosh I don't know how to feel. It's a shame that the convenience means that I have to gamble on quality. I don't see myself placing more online orders in the future, I'll just go in store.
OH MY GOODNESS!! Before my incident I would find it hard to believe so many coincidences/that Hermes could be this off… But wow… The herbag too?? That’s on my Wishlist too but rarely if ever drops on the Canadian site so I have no chance… Same I totally understand, we don’t expect perfection BUT a certain “high level of quality and craftsmanship” is expected when we are paying these prices, and for the long established reputation that Hermes has… I’m hoping this is a temporary situation due to opening new workshops and doing possibly large new hires of craftsmen… Due to the increase in demand… But if this continues it can’t be good for the brand! Are you planning to return the herbag too?? Or can you just get it send in to be repaired - they’re harder to get than bride a bracs!! What a shame!! I ordered chypre sandals too but they haven’t come in yet… Now I’m so nervous omg… ughhhh
Even if you “only” (that’s still business, they need to make online and boutique shopping INTEGRATED but that’s another story/rant) shop online i wish they could try to do an exchange for you.. But i totally understand why you might be cautious and not want to risk disappointment down the line 😳
Honestly NEVER had this problem with Hermes for years, I didn’t even glance at the items usually because I trusted the quality so so much. Sigh…. Praying 2024 Hermes will return to their usual high standards! 🙏 Let me know what you plan on doing!! ❤️ Kiki

Im so disappointed, never had issue before with Hermes. I returned and purchased another one, but after your video Im not sure , should I keep or return, I dont wanna any issue in the future …🤪

I actually got another one too (will post video), but definitely 💯 thinking hard about whether i should collect this bag in more/different sizes and Colors or if I should just stop at 2 😱 I’m thinking I’ll keep mine… because i trust that Hermes will fix them if they break - but agree the hassle is a bit much if it happens often… Ugh why Hermes why!! Guess I won’t have 10+ bride a bracs in my future… LOL 😝 ❤️ Kiki
