Honestly, this is one of the best Elseworlds comics that DC have made. It does have similar tones to Marvel 1602. Imagine if Dark Knights of Steel was adapted into a animated movie or miniseries, now that would be epic.

I don't think I personally care for the story too much surprisingly. I think it was probably some of the creative liberties that were taken and also some plot points that I feel that makes sense for some characters where I'd say their decision-making didn't make sense for them. At face value it was fine.

That was a superb re-telling of a magnificent story. I have one query, though. What was the 'accent' you were using for Constantine? I heard some rarely used vowel sounds that come from a small village in south west Ireland before the accent determinedly headed towards Australia and a short sojourn in Tasmania before jetting off to South Africa where it picked up a couple of consonants in preparation for the winsome sounds of the Appalachians before settling down in the mouth of a Newfoundland sailor who'd clearly spent the previous week working his way through a barrel of groggy rum. It was... ummm... unique. Have you thought of trying it with an English accent next time?
Gotta love having black cannary in your prison, but somehow forgetting to gag her so she can't use her very much scream based powers. Same with king shark, could probably just bend those bars, a hurray to selective intelligence in comic books
Great story. Only gripe (and its more of a preference than real criticism) is that green lantern got so little. Then again I don't really see a good way to introduce the corp into the story without them being overpowered. The Kryptonians worked because they were working with diplomacy over violence and John Jones didn't seem like he wanted to fight along side the main characters and rather was used for exposition and support.
The final issue came out just a few weeks ago. I think with Dark Nights: Death Metal, the DC Universe multiverse rules changed again, and now "In addition to the New 52 Multiverse, the Omniverse consists of an infinite number of alternate multiverses."
This story, just like Kingdom Come, seems very similar to the legendary pitch from Alan Moore that he did to DC to undo Crisis on Infinite Earths: Twilight of the Superheroes - Houses - Green Men (Green Arrow instead of [Spoilers] - Magic or “Magic” being locked away (like aliens & Lanterns being locked away from visiting Earth) - a thunder-based hero leading a house (Billy Batson instead of Black Lightning) - an apocalyptic prophecy (both foretold by John Constantine!) Go look it up if whoever’s reading hasn’t seen it before since it’s the fountainhead for DOZENS OF STORIES ever since Alan Moore wrote the proposal in the late 80s. It’s even rumored to be part of why he left DC since he very badly wanted to do it and get the full rights to Watchmen back
Great comic book, honestly on par with DCeased but i dowish it was a bit longer and expand on all character relationships and interaction in this world instead of hope u know your DC characters well type of writing

Yeah true, I have not done as much Marvel for sure. Will try to think on what I want to do in the Mavel space long term. I've always wanted to do Dardevil by Bendis and Brubaker. I also want to try covering some 1960's Stan Lee/Kirby Marvel like Fantastic Four, really curious if people would be into it. Those old issues are super fun. IDW's Ninja Turtles is also something I've been wanting to cover too, I could never cover it all tho, way too long. Some people are getting tired of me covering Millar, but I will say, his videos usually do pretty good for me. Anyway, next week I'm covering an Image series called I Hate Fairyland which I've got a few requests for, so we'll see how that does.

Hidden in plain sight is where an agenda lies nowadays our life long love for alternative reading is subject to this fact. As soon as wonder women and supergirl where kissing I knew where this was going and it didn't disappoint by the end the new era had been made clear with the Queendom in place and Amanda wailor got off Scott free irregardless of her dispecable acts against her own people in the interest of another races agenda ( all to familiar with women like this). Wokeness is not a corporate action it's ones personal awakening into the agenda's and narratives of corporations, governments and media. Stay woke out there.

We get no time to really know any of the characters before the crazy twists start happening, the actions of most seem completely irrational and contrived because of this, cool re-imaginings of DC concepts are just wasted because Taylor couldn't place any of them properly, and just kept saying 'Ooh! Look; here's a cool idea! Wouldn't this be cool?!' Why should I not believe medieval Supergirl is a psychopath WHEN THAT'S HOW THE STUPID COMIC INTRODUCES HER TO US?! We're hardly given ANY indication of who Superman or Supergirl are -or much of anyone else, really, as the comic keeps having to stop itself to deliver backstory for plot reveals. Sure, Lois of Lane, its cool that you think you know Supergirl enough to know she's not a psychopath; but we haven't been given enough reason to take your word for it. Stuff that SHOULD be kept offscreen until a plot reveal -like Constantine summoning Ras Al Ghul to resurrect the black prince, gets put to the forefront because Taylor was too impatient to show off his cool 'What If?' idea, and we get scarcely little of Batknight playing witchfinder general with anyone who has superpowers, before the nonsensical medieval Teen Titans start accusing him of being a bigoted, fascist cop, and no, Black Canary; you are in that cell BECAUSE YOU TRIED TO KILL A PRINCE, YOU PSYCHOPATH!! Oh; and don't even get me started on how retarded the 'White Martians' are. Nothing works, nothing makes sense, and on top of all of that, the comic isn't even remotely historically accurate. Not even in a fictional historical setting kinda' way, or even a D&D kinda' way. This is just bad fantasy fanfiction. Straight up. Don't recommend
