This is why I love comics we can relate My brother had a anger problem and I got him into Naruto and he started to draw and it became a outlet for him he died when he was 22 but it charged his life I hope your doing okay and don't feel like your in a dark place anymore by my comic friend

8/10 is fair rating. Just giving my humble opinion though, I believe Geiger himself is still alive based on the green glow that was showing in the far background of the last page. I also like the stories that are told over visits but we see it in live action. it gives it that PRINCESS BRIDE vibe ya dig what i'm saying?

Thanks to Fallout 4 mods, I was introduced to early comics titles and one in particular (in the same era where the crimefighters all smiled manically while fighting the Baddy Of The Day, Cat-Man was a vigilante hero, and his young sidekick had that same grin while machine-gunning Japanese soldiers) had Boy King. "We Warn You--Boy King will KILL CRIME!"
The idea of the shared universe being more a timeline solves the weird issues marval and DC have, like how the xmen are hated but people are ok with the fantastic four

So it's like Fallout
At first it seemed like an odd choice to do a post nuclear war story. It has been done to death since the 50's and there are so many other problems in the world at this moment that are more prevalent in society's shared consciousness. But maybe that is a good reason for it. The threat of nuclear destruction is always present as long as there are nuclear weapons.

I'm sorry, but this comic makes no sense. The kids know how to drive and have a map, but they dont know about the existence of mutant bugs? Geiger was just chilling outside of town on a main road? Geiger knew that the King's men were about to show up? Random dudes showed up, found Geiger, and attacked him like he was just slightly better at fist fighting instead of an invincible radiation monster? The mom worked at that bar and didn't know there were cameras everywhere? She just left work early with a giant sack and she thought no one would notice? The king kept Geiger alive because he wanted to enter a building that he was going to blow the doors off anyway? Geiger didn't notice 3 guys in the cabin with a single piece of furniture? What was he guarding if he let those guys into the building unnoticed? Why would he even bother looking normal?
The "general" looks 26 years old?
His dog got into a building to guard a single kid from being caught leaving a room and then it violently ripped out the guard's throat? The king and his guys wearing medieval armor and swords despite also having guns?
Geiger melts handcuffs but can grab a gun and fire it several seconds later? The military people sent a robot to fight a man made of radioactive flame within 100 feet of a massive fuel depot and tanker? No one is freaking out about losing that fuel in an apocalypse? The kids hang out around Geiger when he tells them to back up? He is like family to them, but he never bothered to try to control his power for his literal family? The king knows Geiger is invincible but he throws away his "warship" that gets trashed instantly?
None of this makes sense. Too bad the story was so terrible and clichéd, the art is pretty awesome.

I honestly don't like the back story for him the whole protecting family thing. I fell it's kinda dumb
Mind changed I loved the second half and it made up for the parts I didn't like
I like the story for the most part but I disliked how NORAD was handled. I can understand the kids not understanding things and jumping to conclusions about being killed there, but Geiger is an adult and should know better. Maybe Geiger's brain has been fried from living out in the wasteland for so long and being distrusting by default. I dunno.
My biggest conclusion I drew from this is Junkyard Joe is cool as hell.
Interesting world but I am disappointed to see that yet again the US military/Government is cast as the villain. I'd like to see just one post-apocalypse US setting where that wasn't the case but oh well.
To me, it doesn't seem like they are the villains necessarily. They didn't kill them violently upon arrival, only when they tried to escape
Besides, there is not ONE government that hasn't murdered children irl while trying to "save" someone

Worst book I've heard on this channel so far imo. You usually pick some gems but this one was kinda cliche apocalypse guy. His super cancer powers are so crazy OP it's hard to root for him.
Q: Is #GEIGER set in the same universe as #JunkyardJoe ? Geiger's son, is sporting a Junkyard Joe Cap & has a Junkyard Joe Toy is showin, hanging outside of his backpack, as they are seeking shelter.
Is this just a fun nod? or is this somehow connected? Its seems like its almost taking place right around the end of Junkyard Joe?
