Great video, as always. One point on the section about the snes (in his video), you don't need to add another instance of RetroArch, you can just add the profile to the existing instance. One can imagine it getting very confusing if you have a lot of systems.
Wish playnite would add "attract mode" so the game will scroll automticlly in the background...its a very missing feature. launchbox has it but its pretty broken and limite to only random scrolling.
Good day Mr Jamie. thanks for the video. I was wondering if you would advise me to try this because I have Launchbox and Retrobat installed on my PC with a few stand alone emulators. Do you know much about using those light guns that you use to play those old arcade games and how to set it up on pc win10 ?
How to play games that that require systems like bally astrocade ? System bally astrocade will open in playnite with mame. I just don t know how to load games on it in playnite.
Very cool Video thanks a lot! I only want to use Playnite and dont want to take care of retroarch for my emulation. Is there any advantage having retroarch imported in playnite compared to downloading the desired dedicated emulator and import it to playnite?

I'm afraid not. I don't own a light gun.

Can I add emulators and roms in their current location to Playnite without moving them into playnite folder ?
Sure. Just direct them to the correct directory.
@@JustJamie1983 Thank you very much. have a great evening.

Retroarch will cover around 80% of retro systems so kinda beneficial in some ways. Some people prefer standalones though.
How can i make it plug and play when ay plugin na hdd it will autorun the playnite ?
Firstly. Install everything onto an external drive.
Can i do this with emudeck?
Do what?
