Taker's push originally was against Heels like Yokozuma and Mable. That's why he was so popular and caught on when other similar gimmicks didn't back then, because he wasn't just another Heel. The Ministry was a big Heel turn though, and he has had some moments but usually it was some "he's been cursed!" or possession thing that turned him Heel

The first 2:30 of this video was why I never pursued pro wrestling. I actually had something similar happen to me.. Trained and then had the guy ditch town with my money. Along with things I experienced, I told myself if this was the environment of the business, then I think i'd rather not be a pro wrestler lol.. Obviously there could have been other things that may have had me not "Make the cut" but that alone pushed me away. It's a shame I am at the age I am now because I feel that if I was younger and wanting to wrestle, the way the business is now, it's a lot more welcoming. Sure they push you extremely hard physically and mentally, but not the way Taker was screwed, at least on a viewpoint of it almost happening EVERYWHERE.

I always liked the UNDERTAKER ever since he came into wrestling that character was just brilliant and for a big guy he was a great mover in the ring jumping off the top rope after walking along it just amazing stuff.I didn't like it when he became the "American badass"that was lame but it probably gave the UNDERTAKER more years in wrestling.The man himself is the last of a certain type of loyal person that are pretty rare in today's world.When he came to WWF at the time he was just unbelievable with the music and he never spoke a word.
The biggest takeaway here is that Mark is a dog lover. He didn't have money to feed himself, but took on two big dogs to care for because they had been left behind. The man has a huge heart.

Buzz was the baddest heel in Georgia when I started watching wrestling. Face turn was up there at the top of my list also. I now see why he didn't stick around too long or make it to the big show in New York. The talent was there.
