Undertaker also said in his interview with SCSA that he was very thankful on a particular Dusty Rhodes spot from I think Taker's debut. So I guess he's returning favors.

Yes, in the Undertaker’s debut match at Survivor Series (The 5 vs 5 classic) he came in as this dominating figure. During the match, Dusty Rhodes let Taker throw him over the top rope. At the time, this was HUGE. And the first big moment for the Undertaker.

Too Meowstream: I heard those stories from those Miz, Corbin, McIntyre themselves. Also heard from Kane about his relationship with Taker & why he looks up to him. Heard from Big Show how Taker gave him advice early on in his WWE career. Taker supported HHH wanting to enter a relationship with Stephanie. I love hearing stories about Taker. Legendary stories about the true iconic legend!
Legend, iconic, so humble, loyal, dedicated, respected. Those are qualities that both Sting and Taker possess. Extremely rare in the pro wrestling business for someone especially a top talent to have any of those qualities. Kane’s got them too.

Dusty was the opposing team captain during takers debut and let taker pin him so I am sure there is a lot of respect and admiration there

'taker pinned Dusty after nailing him with double axe handle from top rope, he then left the ring to continue attacking Dusty and got counted out, the fact that he actually tagged Greg Valentine (I think) just before he did that actually meant he wasn't the legal man in the match!
And now Taker and Punk played an important role for this first ever championship title.
Punk going to Cody and asking him to pick his moments in the Rumble was so underrated and sweet imo in that story.
15 years later Cody won the Royal Rumble and is the headliner of WrestleMania 39.
Then taker helped Cody to finish his story. Full circle moment
Undertaker will always be the reason why I watched WWE shows.

I don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone talk bad about taker.
Even those who have have altercations with him and whatnot usually go "He was right and I was wrong", like the man is the definition of respect. There's this funny story in one of Jericho's books about his early WWE days and interacting with Taker on screen where Taker fucking destroyed him verbally and embarrassed him with a shoot for trying to insult him, I just don't remember what he actually said. But the point is, Jericho was also like "Yeah he just showed me who's the boss around here"

Cody is a professional. He no sold that Jimmy Snuka joke.
People only seem to ever have good things to say about Undertaker in an industry where slagging people off in shoots is commonplace. Even Ultimate Warrior during a shoot was complimentary of Undertaker when discussing working with him in 92 and he pretty much put down everyone from that era. Undertaker is also a smart guy who knows that making new stars means better business for everyone so giving Cody his moment to get over means down the line he'll be more valuable to the company. Undertaker even put Maven over at a Royal Rumble when nobody wanted to give anything to these Tough Enough guys and hated them.

I remember that 2008 RR, if you look back at the moment in the ring, Cm Punk was trying not to laugh at Roddy Piper & Jimmy Snuka, when they was going back & forth at each other. Truly a RR Moment. But the story of Undertaker, only truly proves why he's the #GOAT a one of a kind wrestler.

Cody, much like William Regal, is one of those wrestlers I can just listen to tell stories for hours. While Regal has that soft spoken Blackpool accent and a wicked self deprecating sense of humour, Cody just gets so animated and into it that it’s impossible not to smile at how much fun he’s having. And those Rumble stories are just awesome.
I could literally listen to Cody Rhodes and Brandi because every day because he just reminds me of this father just telling stories and his brother tell stories it just makes me smile

Deuce and Domino were a tag team back in 07-08 alongside with Cherry, having that classic theme “All About Cool” with their Greece gimmick.they both were separated in 08 when both were not on the same page against Jesse and Festus (Luke Gallow). Both went as single competitor then later on was released.

Undertaker was a jerk to a few guys, like DDP. Undertaker at the time probably didn't realize what a stand up guy DDP was and how he would go on to save others in the industry. During that peroid Undertaker was very scared of WCW guys getting his spot.

It isn't the competition he's talking about. It's Taker. He's different. Since his return as the Deadman, Taker has been one of the more selfless people in the industry barring the time CM Punk pissed him off. But that was more that Punk should've spoken a bit more....carefully. If he had told Taker that his character wouldn't dress in a suit and tie, but would reject it, it probably would have gone over better.

I was at this Rumble at MSG.....Taker came out numero uno to the biggest cheers I've ever heard. Then Taker bumped around the ring for literally everyone. It was so obvious how truly giving he was to all the "lower" card talent.
Now he's the 2023 royal rumvle winner. I've seem this clips countless times this story never gets old lol

Undertaker is by far the GOAT of WWE for me easily, always showed up for the business, put people over when necessary, offered so many performers to break the streak (they deserved it too) until another one that deserved it accepted it, and was an all worldly performer at his size for 3 decades and is by far the most respected guy the business ever had.
