Yes, in the Undertaker’s debut match at Survivor Series (The 5 vs 5 classic) he came in as this dominating figure. During the match, Dusty Rhodes let Taker throw him over the top rope. At the time, this was HUGE. And the first big moment for the Undertaker.

Heard from Big Show how Taker gave him advice early on in his WWE career. Taker supported HHH wanting to enter a relationship with Stephanie. I love hearing stories about Taker. Legendary stories about the true iconic legend!
Legend, iconic, so humble, loyal, dedicated, respected. Those are qualities that both Sting and Taker possess. Extremely rare in the pro wrestling business for someone especially a top talent to have any of those qualities. Kane’s got them too.

Undertaker is also a smart guy who knows that making new stars means better business for everyone so giving Cody his moment to get over means down the line he'll be more valuable to the company. Undertaker even put Maven over at a Royal Rumble when nobody wanted to give anything to these Tough Enough guys and hated them.

Cody, much like William Regal, is one of those wrestlers I can just listen to tell stories for hours. While Regal has that soft spoken Blackpool accent and a wicked self deprecating sense of humour, Cody just gets so animated and into it that it’s impossible not to smile at how much fun he’s having. And those Rumble stories are just awesome.
I remember that 2008 RR, if you look back at the moment in the ring, Cm Punk was trying not to laugh at Roddy Piper & Jimmy Snuka, when they was going back & forth at each other. Truly a RR Moment. Undertaker was a jerk to a few guys, like DDP. Undertaker at the time probably didn't realize what a stand up guy DDP was and how he would go on to save others in the industry. During that peroid Undertaker was very scared of WCW guys getting his spot.

Both went as single competitor then later on was released.
It isn't the competition he's talking about. It's Taker. He's different. Since his return as the Deadman, Taker has been one of the more selfless people in the industry barring the time CM Punk pissed him off. But that was more that Punk should've spoken a bit more....carefully. If he had told Taker that his character wouldn't dress in a suit and tie, but would reject it, it probably would have gone over better.
Undertaker, truly the best in the business. Not only does he have great acting abilities for his gimmicl, not only can he put on great matches, but he will be ready to make just about anyone look good.

I was at this Rumble at MSG.....Taker came out numero uno to the biggest cheers I've ever heard. Then Taker bumped around the ring for literally everyone. It was so obvious how truly giving he was to all the "lower" card talent.
This was one of the best Royal Rumbles ever. It's awesome to hear an inside story about it from one of the participants. Imagine the stories all of the other wrestlers have of that match. 🐐
Honestly, moments like this is why i love the 2008 rumble so much, you can feel how everyone is giving their 100%, not a single moment is wasted and everyone has at least one instance to shine

A simple thing such as “taking a bump” for a young guy is the world’s greatest thing. Especially if it’s the Undertaker.
I was at this Rumble at MSG.....Taker came out numero uno to the biggest cheers I've ever heard. Then Taker bumped around the ring for literally everyone. It was so obvious how truly giving he was to all the "lower" card talent.
This was one of the best Royal Rumbles ever. It's awesome to hear an inside story about it from one of the participants. Imagine the stories all of the other wrestlers have of that match. 🐐
