My all-time favorite appetizer recipe for special occasions and holidays! An easy recipe for blini with caviar and all the fixings! Caviar blini are made with mini pancakes topped with a combination of crème fraiche, chopped eggs, shallots, dill, and capers. Use your choice of black sturgeon caviar or salmon roe as the topping. This impressive appetizer is always a huge hit with everyone!

5:20 I haven’t used caviar before, may I know why not preferred to use metal spoon; please ✨
It is believed that metal may change the flavor. Same goes for silver spoons as well. The metal used in the cans they are sold in is a non-reactive metal that doesn’t alter the taste or composition of the caviar.
The metal reacts with the caviar and gives it a slightly metallic flavor. It's not as noticeable with salmon roe, but you definitely taste it with black sturgeon.

You can try searching for some vegan caviar - it's usually made with some kind of juice. Just search online for the product :)
Good Day Chef 🇺🇦🧑🍳. I'm getting Country Club flashbacks. I never had to put so much work into making something I would never eat. First I want to point out your perfect hard boiled eggs, again. No greenish film around the yolk. I used a box grater for the eggs, the smallest side. We used purple onions, very small diced and sour cream. I really liked making the 100's of toast points (no crust). Personally I find caviar to be 🤢. Did you know that it takes over 2000 salmon eggs to make an omelette 🤭. I usually make about 4 pieces per person, unless you know everyone loves caviar! My husband can eat 10 lol!
