Tip for those with lambskin ear pads:
A little Chamberlain’s Leather Milk (Formula No.1) 2-3 times a year works great for keeping those pads in tip top shape. It gently cleans them and nourishes the leather to keep them nice and soft. Works well on the leather headband as well on the LCD models. A good product as it doesn’t have any toxic chemicals.

How long should the earcups and headband normally last on a LCD-X creator edition new? On mine one earcup completely fell off and the headband started falling apart in just 2 years while handling the headphones very carefully. Sent it in for repair though.
