This song broke my heart, I cried a river of tears even before it was finished. My mom struggled with depression and suicidal attempts. Loved her so much, best mom a daughter could ask for. I appreciated Patrick’s honest words, that his mom had an illness she couldn’t control-much like mine. Yet, we knew our mom’s loved and supported us, as we did them-with our whole heart! You feel so isolated when you don’t have mentally healthy memories to share about your mom, but thank you Patrick, for being fiercely relatable and making me feel understood this one time-through your courageous story and your phenomenally inspiring song! May God continue to heal other hearts out there like yours and mine, and may He bless your career in amazing ways! You’ve already helped heal mine more than you know!
