Haha what the hell? Its the first rule to have clean hands and they are for sure clean, especially in Switzerland. You know that for example Sushi is also completley made by hand and the chef is touching it quiet a lot before you eat it?

one of ace's biggest attributes has to be his humble innocence ! Ace is so curious and puts himself out there to try new things at the same time connecting with the people along the way ! not only the places that he takes us to to see in your videos is interesting but the thing that might be more intriguing about his videos might just be just simply watching him experience new thing in his own way ! The way Ace seems to speak his honest feeling as he interacts is refeshing because we get to see how he experiences these places in his own special way ! Americans can be so funny . For a lot of people might be familiar with the places and cultures his visits but seeing ace experience in his own way is the thing that makes his videos interesting.

I just realize that for visitors Montreux or Geneva might seem like they're culturally like Basel because they're all in Switzerland but this is far from the truth. I don't think there's a country on earth that has this many cultural differences on this small of a piece of earth. Yet it works and we like each other with all our differences and are proud of our little country.

Basel is sweet. The border is that tight, that there is an sports centrum at the border mid France, that is in France but is owned and run by Stadt Basel (Pfaffenholz). The local Culture on all three is an alemmanic Deutsch one mid the swabish culture (Lorrach), Alsatian (French Side) and Baselian (Swiss). The French Side has seen its local Culture heavily watered due to the flooding of many Outsiders there and the Flattening by the French State until fairly recently, of the local native Tongue, and thus, Culture. All in all though, clean and sheen Bit of the World and glad you like it!

Just a sidenote: not only are groceries typically (and often by a lot) cheaper in Germany than in Switzerland, but also you can get the VAT which you paid back the next time you go to the same store (or same chain).
(For that you need a form the shop will hand you out if you ask for it, fill it out with your Swiss adress and then get a stamp on it from the German customs when you cross the border back to Switzerland. Works for (almost) everything you purchase just as long as yout spend a mimimum of 50€ per purchase.)

It‘s actually the flag of the canton bern, not basel. He probably ate the „bern“ version of cordon bleu and i imagine that the kitchen uses this flags, so the service-personal knows which cordon bleu is which.

In Deutschspeaking Switzerland, more folks speak English than before but due to being highly regionalised and thus, outside the bury aka cities, many speak their own tongues and that's it. They always seek to try as much as they can though.
McDs in Switzerland is the best from any McDs I have eaten elsewhere. As ye said, ever so fresh and has an big local Menu.
Local money is Swiss Franks (CHF).
Basel is ever so small as an Stadt, it has an Hinterland that has its own Administration (Basel-Landschaft).
At 16:15, ye were at Barfüsserplatz (Oldtown/Downtown basically), and the Church is Basels Museum. All around there and further towards the Rhein, are shops, eateries, some clubs, and bars. It's good.
    Loving this Video loads 💪💪💪

Regarding the trash, in Switzerland you have official trash bags, you buy a roll of 10 bags it costs normally about Sfr. 20, the cost covers the removal of the rubbish by the council. If someone is trying to dump their household trash in a bin in the city is probably because they are too stingey to pay for the bags.

Bro i live in this area in France, the winning combo is work in swiss and buy your food and groceries in germania( its cheaper in germany)
The place near the rhine in basel is there the people go to smoke weed lol and you there next the prostitute quarter of basel ( its considered about a legal work in swiss )
There is a lot of work in swiss
More than the half of the people who live in France in this area work in swiss
The average salary in france is about 1500 in Swiss its about 4000-4600
A flat in swiss cost around 2000-2200 in france 600-800 per mounth
Some things like électronics and computer parts can be cheaper there
Before the chf to euro was différent the mc Donald was cheaper than france (20 years ago )

Some correction. Its working in Switzerland and not in "Swiss". It is like saying i work in French instead in France. The average salary is about 6500 CHF in Switzerland. How much you pay for rent depends heavily which region we are talking about. Basel is a bit more expensive while I pay 1500 CHF for a pretty big apartment (Schaffhausen). But you are correct. Many people living near Swiss border also work here. We have for example a lot of Germans working here.

@@sagittariusa9012 yes but the salary for the french people who work in switzerland is lower and even more for the german people and they do a lot of shity job that the swiss people dont do ( like Bell factory and cleaning Jobs )
Average for a french is more 4500 5000 than 6500
      But yes
