Different cultures eat different things. That being said, I see your channel as the more Italian with a twist. Hopefully you continue with this path. Things we all know and can replicate at home.

Something really delicious there is the chicken satay with peanut sauce. May be you try and get the most authentic recipe for the peanut sauce and make a video on it. Enjoy your stay in Indonesia.

I like your channel very much and use a variation of your bacon recipe and apple wine recipe all the time. In America, so many foods like cured meat and beverages are thought of as products one typically buys rather than something one can easily make. Culinary tradition seems to have fallen by the wayside because people think it's a large project or a hassle to make a batch of wine, but your videos show how simple it is, and the end result is undoubtedly healthier than what's on the shelf. I live in an area with lots of apple orchards and unpreserved apple cider can be had inexpensively. I use a gallon of cider, a bottle of honey, and some high-alcohol yeast to make an 18% apple mead. I just wash the glass jug I use for fermentation as normal and skip the sterilization. I've not had a single bad batch out of several dozen.

Instead of pushing knife through the plastic surface, you can heat a screwdriver and push through the surface. A small hole is made and then you can enlarge it with ease. Then proceed as you want to.😊

Hope you come soon here in Philippines, Belgian/Italian mix here. For my fermenter (alcolic) I use the big pot of proteins for the gym and then use cheap airlock from shopee (they have this online shop also in Indonesia). also I melt the plastic with a soldering Iron and old iron tip then I sand with 120. For the Kimchi same process but with a Lock&Lock Large Capacity Crisper Oversized Plastic. for the carboy, I use plastic water gallon :)

Excellent, well done, a very useful video. I want to tell you, I have just made whiskey (YOUR way) and it is great! THANK YOU. You are in Sulawesi. I know Bali very well, but they are Hindus not Muslims. ALL Balinese food is great and I encourage you to see if you can find / try / cook it. The absolute No.1 is Balinese Slow Roasted Pig!!! Also, on one visit to Bali, I had food prepared in the street by NON-Balinese Indonesians. These were gigantic kebabs . . . absolutely fantastic . . . so if I were in Sulawesi, I would look out for those. Merry Christmas Andrea! No cats or dogs on the menu, please.
